The only plug was across the room and the controls for the air con and lights too so you had to get out of bed to do anything.

The property is just like the photos and is in a very quiet and peaceful location just a 5 minute walk from the shops and restaurants. Also it’s easy to walk to the Nine Arches Bridge from here. The bed was large, clean and comfortable and the air con worked well and we had plenty of hot water. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with coconut pancakes, fruit and home made daal. The owner and his assistant were friendly and wanted us to be happy with everything.

The property is not really ready to rent. There are many things listed on booking in the facilities that aren’t actually available. There is no kettle, no hairdryer, no bath and the kitchen is not really available or set up for you to use, which was one of the main reasons we booked. Also, the shower was broken and the toilet didn’t flush properly. This could be a really nice place, but needs many things sorting to charge the price they do.

The room was large, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.

1. Internet was not working. Very bad and not able to open Internet page. 2. Language barrier. The staff barely speak English. 3. The room looks empty with little furniture. Could improve with some furniture. 4. The toilet flush and sink tap were not working well.

1. Location is close to Ella Market. And other tourist areas are close. 2. Staff and owner were great. They greeted us with Welcome Tea, helped us carry luggage on the steep hill to the accommodation, and arranged a takeaway for an additional charge. 3. Cleanliness and picturesque view. 4. Room size and bed was nice. 5. Balcony area for relaxing and dining. 6. Facility to use Fringe, kitchen and washing machine in a separate place.

A great place to stay near Ella. Your room has a mosquito net and en-suite. There are table and chairs outside (which I brought inside ... I needed a desk to work). Big shout out to Selvan, the 'super man' running the place. He cooks breakfast, cleans, calls a tuk-tuk for you ... and all done with a big smile ! The lodging is up a steepish hill ... but a tuk tuk to / from Ella is 500 each way (less than €2), and just takes a few minutes. There is a simple kitchen and fridge, which you can use. Tea and coffee available in the kitchen.

The room: The main problem for us was, that when you close the door, there is no chance to get fresh air. For this reason, the air is really bad when the doors were closed for a certain time. It smells damp and musty (you can see mold at the photo). There is only one plug. Make sure to bring Socket distributor. The manager: She has no sense for privacy nor service. She looks in the room even when the curtains are closed. She takes pictures of us during breakfast without permission. And she interupts the guests at dinner or breakfast for getting the stay paid Also I don't have the feeling that she treats the employee with the necessary respect.

It was clean and quite. The employee: It is a little older guy. He is the reason, that anything works at this location. He is very polite, has a huge feeling for privacy and works really well. We could see him oftentimes, since we had some rainy hours. He helped us with every concern. He is the reason, why you can stay here clean and safe. Very trustworthy.

We loved the host, he was the most kind personen we meet in Sri Lanka. We loved the breakfast as well! 😍 The bed and bathroom were fine.

The room had not been cleaned. The sheets were dirty, the sink in the bathroom was grimey, there was a piece of jewellery on the dirty shelf. The toilet paper was chewed presumably by a rodent. They offered us a different room but then didn't move us. We did get clean sheets and a fresh toilet roll.

The breakfast was plentiful. The host was extremely friendly. The room was big.Up a very steep hill. Quiet at night.

There was a current leak in our room. I got shock two times.

The breakfast was very very good! Very tasty! Location was also good! The customer service was perfect and friendly. 🤩

First of all the manager was very very rude and treats her staff member like slave. With the customer she wasn’t polite,annoying and rude. I can’t find words to describe but money minded . Regarding the room the toilet was not properly fixed it is very dangerous and it doesn’t work neither, the shower was leaking everywhere. There was a leak on the roof and the floor was wet in the bed room .They don’t provide with a proper bill or receipt .

Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. Lelun and the family were incredibly kind and generous, ensuring we had everything we needed. Lelun went above and beyond, preparing delicious meals that perfectly accommodated my dietary restrictions. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hospitality here exceeded all expectations—highly recommended

It was a great location, just a short walk from centre of town. Both the manager Nelum and the gentleman who ran the homestay were so friendly and welcoming. Nelum was a lovely woman who made us feel at home, and the gentleman working at the property was such a hard worker. Breakfast was delicious and he was so proactive during our stay.
