When I was staying there was noisy building work going on from 9am to 10pm. The mosquito net didn't quite close around the bed. It would have been good to have a bedside light and UK/EU charging points near the bed.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Great location - just minutes from the beach with its many bars and restaurants. Also at the right side of town to easily visit the Japanese Pagoda and Jungle Bay.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Unawatuna, this hotel is well placed, very near (walking distance) from the beach and everything in town but sufficiently far from the hustle and bustle of the town as to be quiet. They have a nice restaurant and the family that runs it is very friendly and welcoming.

the only thing i can think of was that i was early out of bed and had to wait a little for breakfast. but i think that also had to do with the festival. it was difficult for them to find bread.

It was a quiet place, wich was especially good since i did not know there was a festival, a perehera going on. And the festivities made a lot of noise in the center, but this was calm a little outside the main street and still close to the beach.

We arrived and our bed linen was dirty and smelly. We paid on arrival and asked for the money back as wanted to leave. We were not allowed any money back.

We thought we had paid for Aircon on booking.com. but it turned out to be extra. I think this is because of the current energy crisis and is completely understandable. Still great value for money.

Beautiful house with very friendly and kind owners. Also a very good location off the main road so it's peaceful at night but only a 5 min walk to the beach. Great outdoor space on the balcony so you can work if you need to. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back.

It was very noisy!! There wasn't any shampoos or tissues or towels! The bed was very bad and squeaky! The toilet kept making water sounds and it was very difficult to use and the shower water was very little.

I like the location and exterior design.
