I stayed here for 02 nights. After day 1, I asked the staff to clean my room in my absence. But they told me that they usually don't perform room cleaning before 2 days. But upon my insist, they told me that they'll perform room cleaning once I return hotel back. This is an area of improvement. Access to the hotel is difficult at night time due to the darkness on street.

Everything! It’s very well located, only a couple mins walking from all the bars, restaurants and turtle bay! The room is very comfortable with all needed equipments to have a lovely stay! Breakfast is excellent with possibility to choose western or local food! And most importantly, the hospitality was JUST EXCELLENT! Eranga is the best host in the world, he helped us book all our activities (very nice prices I must add 👌) and he made sure that we had everything we needed! If I ever come back to Mirissa this is where I will stay every time!

Such a beautiful view, overlooking the ocean, from the room & balcony. The rooms are modern, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast options are fantastic; English or Sri Lankan. Delicious food & great service.

This property is a bit far from the main road with narrow lanes. But our driver seems to be familiar with this situation. There is another accommodation in front of the hotel which prevented us from enjoying the sea view clearly.

The room is spacious. There is a veranda in this room and the sound of the sea can be heard clearly. From the top floor of this hotel (open space on the roof) we can enjoy the vast sea with coconut trees. The beach is not visible from here. During check-in, we were asked to choose the type of breakfast we wanted, they happily offered us a halal breakfast.

Lovely, comfortable and clean rooms, great air-con, with the added bonus of each having a balcony overlooking the sea (you are not on the seafront - but one street back - but you still get a view). Staff were very helpful and kind. The pool is small, but great for a quick refreshing dip! We appreciated the water filter provided, so we always had access to cool filtered water. Hotel is very close to Coconut Tree Hill for the classic sunset photo! The hotel is a little way out of town - We walked all the way to the 'main' Mirissa beach along the smaller beaches - past Turtle Beach and Parrot Rock, and really enjoyed that - and then took a tuk-tuk back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pearldrop View in Mirissa! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, offering the perfect balance of modern amenities and a homely touch. One of the highlights was definitely the terrace – such a peaceful spot to relax, enjoy the breeze, and take in the beautiful views. It really made our stay feel extra special. The hospitality was truly exceptional. A very special thanks to Manager Eranga and the staff for their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care throughout our stay. One minor issue: the washroom door needs a fix as it can’t be locked, but it’s just a small thing.

PearlDrop Waves Mirissa is such a wonderful place! The view is amazing, and it’s just a short walk to the beach. The stay is clean and cozy, and the host is very helpful. They even provide massages, which made the experience extra relaxing. I absolutely loved this place and highly recommend it.

I'm just looking for something to write here but have next to nothing. I guess the bathroom could be better ventilated even though there is a window? I don't have any real criticism. If you are lucky enough to find availability here book it for as long as you can.

By far my favorite place I've stayed in in Sri Lanka (stayed in higher and lower budget places all around the country). Kindest staff who are beyond accommodating - every ask I had was fulfilled in seconds with someone knocking at the door. Their breakfast genuinely should not be free it's insanely delicious. Seriously some of the best curry I've had here. Go for the Sir Lankan breakfast but they also have a banging western option. Clean enough to appease even the most hyper-hygenic guests. The view from the room is just ridiculous with a pampering balcony, cool AC, and a fan option too which I sometimes even preferred in the evening. The manager is a phenomenal, hardworking, and honest guy who will connect you with any activity you're interested in with the best people, for the best price.

The property had a stunning ocean view and a peaceful atmosphere. The terrace with the swing seat was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sound of the waves. The location was great, very close to Mirissa beach and restaurants.

Everything was perfect

What an amazing place this is! The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained, the view was spectacular from the room. The pool was lovely. The manager, Eranga made our stay absolutely incredible, he accommodated all our needs. The entire staff gave spectacular service for the time we were there. The food was AMAZING! We actually preferred eating there than going out. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back on our next visit to Mirissa. Thank you PearlDrop Waves.

Might be nice to have extra blankets in the room, as a westerner I am used to a duvet and one sheet meant I was a bit cold!

Beautiful location, very close to the beach. Staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. Beautiful pool and roof top terrace, comfy bed, great, hot shower room. Breakfast was delicious and the devilled prawns we had for lunch were too.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The cleanliness is impeccable, the decor is very pleasant, and the sea view is beautiful, both from the room and the rooftop. The pool is clean and calm, perfect for relaxing. The rooftop is well laid out with comfortable chairs. Eranga is very welcoming and speaks English and Tamil, which is a big plus. The sri lankan breakfast and the service were really good. It is located near the coconut tree Hill (7/8min by walking) and the parrot rock ( 15min by walking) , so close to touristic attraction.

Wonderful hospitality! The lady made for us the most delicious juice we had in Sri Lanka. We had mixed up the dates, but the owner helped us immediately, even though he wasn’t obligated to. The cleanliness was impeccable. Thank you for the warm welcome!
