Probably not for those who can't do steep(ish) climbs, but otherwise really good.

We had a lovely stay at this guest house in Tangier. The location, set on a hill, offered a peaceful atmosphere and great views. Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The bathroom was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, which was much appreciated. The standout feature was definitely the rooftop terrace. In the evenings, it was the perfect spot to unwind with a gentle breeze and some great conversation — a truly special part of the stay. Communication with the host was smooth and easy, and they were very accommodating. We were even able to leave our bags at the guest house after check-out, which made our travel logistics much easier. Overall, a great place to stay in Tangier — comfortable, well-located, and welcoming.

Our room was right next to the prayer speaker however we were told upon checkin and not to be alarmed. However wasn’t too much of an issue!

Super cute accommodation right in the middle of Old Town. Marcello was very accommodating and friendly. We were also allowed to keep our luggage stored after checkout :)

There is no clothes’ washing machine. And handles for drying clothes.

Very good designed house and rooms. Managers were welcoming and supportive. On the New year night they organized a small party on the terrace. The view from the terrace and from the room is on the bay. The house is heated by two fireplaces, which makes the shared area very cozy. The kitchen is well equipped.

They need proper black out curtains. So much light comes in at night making it very difficult to sleep.

Proximity to loud speaker for prayer call at 4:30am. We were used to the morning prayer call elsewhere but the volume here was something special. We were leaving reasonably early in the morning (8am) but still a bit surprised to have so little contact with any staff (comparing to what we'd been used to elsewhere).

Very good location for visiting Tangier Medina. Nice sized room and stylish bathroom. Despite the negative (below) we did enjoy our stay

The neighborhood could be quite noisey at times.

A good quality, light breakfast was available at the property. There were also many places nearby to get good food and beverages.

Only downside was the mattress was very firm/hard, but this seems to be common in Morocco (going off of all the accommodation we have stayed at so far). Also the bathroom is beautiful but the shower does spray a bit of water onto the floor as there is no shower screen. We just chucked the floor mat down though to soak it up, not a big deal.

Beautiful building, common space, terrace and rooms. Very clean and wonderfully decorated. It is in a great location in the medina. The building is very secure. The staff were lovely. Common space has a kitchenette which can be used by guests. Loved their online check in to streamline the check in process. They also send a link to their website where you can easily book airport/bus/train station transfers for a reasonable price, as well as transfers to other city’s such as Chefchaouen. Highly recommend staying here.

Everything about my stay was terrific, the location just at the edge of the old city was perfect, the hotel guesthouse was stunning the breakfast was very good. But it was the incredible staff that went above and beyond at every level that really made our stay one of the best we have ever had at any hotel.

The only thing I could point out is that at 6 am we got very scared of The Fajr. Of course this is something cultural to experience, but we got woken up very sudden. The second day we knew this was happening, therefore, we didn't get scared. This would have been nice to know beforehand

The Host of the house was very friendly and welcoming, making sure we were okay with all facilities and even gave us tips of the city. Wifi worked well and the terrace was a highlight of our stay. Breakfast was nutritious and made us ready for the day. We could advise if we wanted the breakfast the previous day and flexibility is something that we look for when traveling.

Scarce breakfast — no fruits or veggies; a window in our ground floor apartment was too close to a loudspeaker, and in the evening there was something that lasted 3h (a call for prayer usually shorter), and it was too loud even when the window was closed

Beautiful property, but very humid and hot. There was no AC, just a few fans to keep cool.

Very poor beddings, its cold at night and the bed is short, im 187cm and my foot is out of the boarder Very poor noise insulation i can hear neighbours freaking loud and the street Very low doors and can not avoid to bump into them with your head. Poor doors can not be closed at wc

The family room was on the ground floor and had no view or AC. The fan was not enough to cool the room when the window was closed, the room got hot. The bathroom didn't have a window and had to have a humidifier on all the time. It was also a very tight space for a family of four. The extra bed was on a mezzanine but the space was still tight for a family.

The property manager was very professional, paid attention to details, gave us tips and was very helpful and friendly. The kitchen, living area, and terrace, or the shared spaces, were excellent, clean, and made us feel at home. We also liked how clean the property was, and the daily hygiene upkeep by the housekeeper. Location was excellent, the old city is full of charm.
