Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainA shower curtain was really missing. Each shower the toilet room was flooded. Not a bad thing, but the be prepared for a couple of minutes drive on a dirt road to get there.
Located in the middle of nowhere. Very calm and quiet. Beds are very comfortable and breakfast was the best we had in morocco. Dinner was really good as well and very recommended to order in advance. The place is full of trees and green. Big pool which the kids liked. The owner was really helpful with everything.

United KingdomThis is possibly my own fault for not having read the reviews but didnt realise quite how remote it would be so probably would have planned better if we'd known (hired a car, brought more water and snacks with us, etc). Definitely a place to bring a car to!
Loved the vibe of the place, so relaxing and charming, beautiful pool area and loved walking through the trees from the room to the pool area, felt like another world. Food was delicious, especially the Rfissa, best one we had in Morocco! Youssef was super helpful in arranging taxis for us, which we really appreciated! Also, as a cat person, very much enjoyed the wee friendly cats to chill with! 😂

SpainThis place is absolutely amazing. Youssef is not only incredibly kind, but also went out of his way to help us with everything we needed—always with a big smile and genuine care. Amina, the cook, treated us like family and prepared delicious traditional meals that truly felt homemade. Every dish she made was full of flavor and love. The hotel itself is located in a peaceful, relaxing area—perfect for disconnecting from the world. There's a small farm with animals and a garden where they grow food you actually get to eat. They're also eco-friendly, using only solar electricity, which we really appreciated. We genuinely loved our stay here and felt so well cared for. We highly recommend spending 2–3 days to fully enjoy the experience and the warmth of the people.

CroatiaA true oasis in the desert! Our stay here was absolutely amazing – it really felt like a peaceful oasis in the middle of the desert. The pool was perfect for relaxing, and the food was delicious! One of the sweetest touches was when the owner gave us a whole bottle of the peanut butter we loved so much at breakfast – such a thoughtful and generous gesture! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we also had the pleasure of meeting his adorable dog, Atlas, who is super cute and loves cuddles just as much as the friendly cat, who couldn’t get enough of attention and snuggles. They made the experience feel even more homey and special. This place is full of heart – we felt truly cared for and relaxed. Highly recommended, and we’d love to come back someday!

United KingdomHonestly, there was nothing we disliked.
Loved how peaceful it was and how welcoming Yusef and Amina were. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel at home. The breakfast was lovely, and Amina's Chicken Tagine was amazing! Yusef helped us book a few excursions and arranged a massage session on the first evening by the pool, the best I've ever had. The room was beautifully decorated, pool lovely and cool - a blessing in the heat! The orchard was a real bonus with fresh figs that we were allowed to pick and eat. The whole experience was just perfect. Only a handful of guests at a time, and we had a lovely relaxing few days there. I would love to go back and would highly recommend the hotel. It was perfect for us, close enough to visit Marrakech, but far enough away from all the hustle and bustle.

SwedenWe were greeted with hospitality and were met with a lot of care. They were very flexible with everything and offered us help when needed. A must visit or staycation if one is close to Marrakech. There is a lot of activities in the area, including here that can be arranged. Me and my partner got to have a private cooking session with the chef and a tour around the garden which we extremely appreciate.

SwitzerlandWe stayed there for our last day/night in Morocco since it’s close to the airport (30 minutes drive). It was the perfect place to end our trip. The place is so peaceful, we were treated like princess, the pool was nice and clean, the room are good with big beds and aircon. The food (chicken tagine with vegetables) Amina made us was also amazing and really good price. Breakfast was really good too. They also offered us tea, limonade and watermelon when we were chilling around the pool. I would 100% recommend if you want to have some chill day in a relaxed and beautiful place. Also nice garden with a lot of trees and veggies/fruits. Thank you Youssef and Amina who made our stay special. Will definitely try to come back next time.

I had a wonderful stay at Auberge Atlas Horizon in the heart of the Agafay Desert. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the Moroccan meals were delicious. My suite was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated in a Berber style. The views at sunset were absolutely magical perfect for unwinding. United KingdomHonestly, nothing major we just wish we had more time to enjoy the adventure activities and cultural excursions available in Marrakech and the Agafay desert.
highlight of our holiday. We’re a couple from UK looking for something a bit different, and this place completely blew us away. The location is absolutely stunning. Tucked away in the Agafay Desert, about 20 minutes from Marrakech, the landscape feels otherworldly like something out of a movie, but without the crowds of Merzouga or Ouarzazate. It's peaceful, beautiful, and you can even see the Atlas Mountains in the distance on a clear day. We were really impressed with the accommodation its a mix between a boutique hotel, a traditional Moroccan auberge, and a luxury desert camp. The tented suites were incredibly comfortable, stylish, and had everything we needed. It felt like glamping, but with a proper touch of luxury. The staff were lovely super friendly yassine, youssef and fatima and genuinely helpful. They organised a camel ride at sunset, a guided walk in the nearby hills, and even a little spa treatment under the stars. We also tried some amazing local cuisine a proper Moroccan feast every night, with tagines, fresh bread, and mint tea, all served in the most beautiful setting. What we really appreciated was how personal everything felt. It wasn't like a big hotel where you're just another guest they took the time to chat with us, ask what we wanted to do, and helped us make the most of our time there. We also loved how connected to Moroccan culture everything felt, from the decor to the music in the evenings. Whether you're after romance, relaxation, or a bit of adventure, this place ticks every box. It’s also ideal if you want to do something different than just staying in the medina in Marrakech. Honestly, we left feeling completely refreshed and already planning our next visit.

MoroccoIf we had to find one downside, it’s that we couldn’t stay longer! Two nights wasn’t enough to fully unwind and enjoy all the auberge’s charms. We would have loved an extra day to relax by the pool and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
We loved the peaceful setting with stunning Atlas Mountain views, the warm hospitality of the staff, and the perfect blend of authentic Moroccan charm with modern comfort. The delicious local cuisine and easy access to both Marrakech and desert adventures made it truly special.

TurkeyThere are no roads, marked in the middle of a dirt field which you need to drive through for 30 mins and there are not signs of even this place exists. There are not any hotels, some buildings in the middle of a dirt field, no signs or marks, not one person to talk to!
This is in the middle of nowhere, there are no roads or any signs. We drove on a dirt field using GPS, and there were no signs on the buildings where it was marked as the hotel on the GPS, only to find out they cancelled the booking the same day! They texted us at 1pm that they cancelled the booking which was only a couple hours before we arrived and we didn’t see it because we were driving from another town for 4 hours.
