The owners were extremely kind. They helped us with everything, gave us information on where to eat and made sure we were enjoying our stay. The rooftop is absolutely the most incredible part of the the hostel, good views, a place to meet other people and lovely in the sun. Thank you for the amazing stay!!

To reach the hostel one needs to go through complicated maze of not very clean streets but the hostel is so nice that it is worth it.

Only the outside laneways were a bit smelly but it was fine

The hostel is in a beautiful grand old Riad. Great rooftop area overlooking Tangier and the Port. We had a private room with bathroom and a tiny balcony. The hostel is situated in the Medina and you walk in from the American stairs. It’s a bit grotty in that area a lot of cats & cat poo. It’s safe and easy to walk to the main soul area and the port area and the Kasbah

Very friendly man that handled my reception. The room Reine de Saba was basic, clean, and the bed was very, very comfortable. I liked the original paintings and art throughout the building. The location is central and I felt good value for money. I would repeat.

The staff at Bayt Alice Hostel was kind and familiar. The hostel is very near to the Socco and it has a wonderful terrace with a beautiful view in which you can take a tea and relax. Also, in the morning we had a typical homemade Moroccan breakfast on the terrace. A beautiful experience in Tangeri at Bayt Alice Hostel.

It was a pleasant stay here in the old city.I had a private room which was great.Close to restaurants and hop on hop off bus close by.Its an easy walk to the beach.

The smell of the bathroom was not ideal, even if it was clean.

Staff members were very helpful and nice! They responded to our messages very quickly and helped us with the reservation of the taxis from/to the airport. We were in a room with 3 beds and a private bathroom. The beds and pillows were comfortable.

I left a small bag that maybe a Gen Z guest picked up but didn't hand in, can be a lot of street noise from neighbours.

The room, the terrace, the view from the terrace, the breakfast and the location, everything was perfect! But what was better was the cordial and empathetic behaviour of the staff. The gentleman at the reception as well as the young lad, both helped me a good deal with everything. The gentleman even refused to take money for the breakfast on day 1! I was sooo pleasantly surprised, nor did the lad take my tip, as he was helping me with my heavy luggage!! Amazed to see such hospitality!! Would definitely go back again!!

Bayt Alice was a charming hostel nestled in the old medina. We booked one of the private rooms, which was perfect for our stay. The Moroccan style and decor added an authentic and aesthetic touch. We especially loved the rooftop, which offered a beautiful view of the water. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, even assisting us with rebooking taxis to and from the airport. We truly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it! It's a great place to meet many wonderful people.

Our first stop in Morocco, and after 2.5 hr Ryan Air delay (not to mention the huge line for immigration), glad we had taken up the offer to taxi pick up. Place would be tricky to find, especially at night, dragging your cases and trying not to step on cats. The host was very good and we settled in quickly and easily, even showing us personally the way to nearest shop and main square. The area takes a while for orientation. Room was ok as a place to crash. I got the vertiginous loft bed. Shower worked ok. Other guests a bit noisy the first night, and someone was trying to enter our room with the wrong key at some point. (Rooms have names, so memorize yours.) But once you learn the ropes, it is very good, and we made great excursion to Asilah. I was assuming French would dominate, but was surprised how many people use Spanish, and I guess many daytrippers even from Spain. Generally, I found people the easiest going in this part of Morocco.
