The garden is simply enchanting, with bougainvillea in full bloom, olive trees, and beautifully cared-for shrubs that create a serene and inspiring atmosphere. It feels like stepping into a little oasis. Our host was exceptional — warm, attentive, and always ready to help with genuine care and dedication. He made us feel not only welcome but truly looked after throughout our stay. The food was another highlight: both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, carefully prepared and full of authentic Moroccan flavors. The value for money is extraordinary. It’s rare to find such quality, comfort, and beauty at such a fair price. Finally, although Dar Boumida is tucked away in a less obvious location, this turns out to be one of its greatest strengths: it provides an ideal base to explore a variety of fascinating places in the region, while offering peace and authenticity away from the crowds.

We had a wonderful stay near the lake in Amismis. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves, which made it even more special. The kids loved both the house and the region. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Despite visiting in August, the temperature was perfect—we didn’t even need the AC. Everything is done with great care and taste. It felt like home, and the host made sure we were completely at ease. A truly special experience—thank you!

The surrounding area. If we were not on a tour I wouldn’t want to stay more than one night.

The property is quite hard to find use Google maps to be certain. Initially the location looks very poor and un inviting but Dar Boumida is a pleasant hideaway.

we absolutely loved this little oasis! we are two touring cyclists and finding this place was like heaven. we ate like queens, the house is incredible, and the host is extraordinary. We ate dinner and breakfast on the beautiful rooftop terrace. we highly recommend this calm little oasis.

It was a bit cold, but the owner provided us with a heater and lit fire in the fireplace, also we came during a really bad weather - not typical for Marocco.

Lighting in the bedroom could be improved.

Spectacular riad, constructed by the owner using traditional building methods. Being out in the desert the stars are incredible! There is a clearing in the garden perfect for stargazing.

There are many barking dogs in the neighborhood which can be annoying if you are a light sleeper.

The owner is a very nice and helpful person. The family room was big, beds comfortable. The attached bathroom was big. There is an A/C that works as a heater in winter. It is nice to sit on the balcony and have breakfast. Breakfast was very good.
