Dar Sami is very well located and exceeded every expectation we had. Marie is an amazing host and filled with great information and suggestions for the area. Our room was generous in size and had a wonderful, private terrace. Dar Sami is located almost directly on the wall and a few minutes' walk to the medina, museums, beaches, mosques, as well as being surrounded by wonderful restaurants and shops. A delicious and abundant breakfast can be taken on the rooftop terrace with great vistas of the city, or simply relax any time, day or night, surrounded by the sights and sounds of Tangier.

Comfortable & convenient, charming & clean, & cosy with character. Reliable airport transfers, & optional delicious good value breakfast. When Marie knew I didn't drink tea or coffee, she provided two juices. Quick communications from Marie, who listens, & is very organised. Close proximity to everywhere. Excellent value, highly recommended. The wardrobe can be locked, which is very handy when travelling light.

The guest house is located at a great location and all the attractions are close by. Marie was a great host giving us lots of advice on what to do / places to visit and we enjoyed a good breakfast on the sunny terras. The room also has everything you need, and also the roof terras gives room to relax if needed. Would recommend it for sure :)

Marie was such a gracious and kind host who can help with whatever you need We loved our stay at Dar Sami. The terrace rooms are beautiful and full of natural sunlight. The rooftop terrace is also an extra bonus and a gorgeous place to relax. Breakfast each morning was divine and very filling.

The only tiny consideration is to potentially take ear plugs or similar if you’re a light sleeper - being close to the Kasbah means it was a little noisy in the evening on Friday/Saturday - but this wasn’t a problem.

Beautiful properly, really well situated. Marie is such a lovely, kind and helpful host. The riad is peaceful and beautifully decorated - and you have everything you need.

I had an amazing stay at this apartment in the heart of the Medina! The location is perfect – just a short walk to all the main attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. The highlight of my stay was the stunning terrace with breathtaking views – a perfect spot to relax and soak in the atmosphere of Tangier. Everything was perfect, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the city!

No words can describe Marie. She is absolutely wonderful and is an incredible example of what a host should be on every level. The location of the house is great and you can get to everywhere on foot. It is a very typical Morrocan house with a beautiful rooftop with great city views. Everytime we needed indications or a taxi, Marie provided and helped us. Highly recommended if you are in Tangier. Merci Beaucoup Marie!! Á la prochaine!

The doors are maybe narrow and there are lots of stairs, for people who are not as mobile it may be an issue but for us it was great.

The room is nice, and what makes it even better is the rooftop where you can sit in privacy in the sun or shade. We were up there quite a bit. Also the location cannot be beat, it was very safe and central. The hospitality was exceptional.

Everything! Lessan and Marie were excellent hosts. Lesson greeted us with his excellent, warm and charismatic presence and told us about different parts of the city. Marie was always super quick to respond and offer suggestions and she told us a lot about the Tangier society. The breakfast was served by a caring and friendly person! The view from the terrace was amazing and the whole stay was super great. We were lucky to have found this place and recommend it here 100%! Oh! They also told us where to buy excellent ceramics at great prices! Thank you so much, Lessan and Marie.

Like most Riadhs in Mororcco, the property really have many stairs, it did not really bother us but that is the only thing i can mention here

Our stay at Dar Sami in Tangier was a delightful experience. The location is perfect, situated near the edge of the medina, providing easy access to markets, cafes, restaurants, and sights. Groceries stores and bakeries nearby added convenience, and parking space and taxis just steps away made arrival and departure a breeze. The property owner was welcoming, kind, and exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. We extend our gratitude for their hospitality. Although our room was a little compact, the charming private terrace offered a lovely space for relaxed evenings. Breakfasts on the rooftop terrace, courtesy of Mrs. Wafa, were a highlight, offering high-quality meals to kickstart our days... and the view, breathtaking! We highly reccomend this cute property for anyone visting Tangier!

Excellent location very beautiful, and Marie did a great job making us feel very welcome. It is a small quaint apartment room, and the view at the top of the terrace is out of this world. Definitely a recommendation for anyone interested in Tangier.

Nothing really to complain about. You can't really compare to a hotel but you got everything you need.

Good location at the end of Rue de la Kasbah, very easy to reach either by walking or by taxi. It is close to the old medina and also close Cafe Hafa and Tombeaux Phéniciens if you want to have a good view of the sea and the city. The guest house is small but very cozy and very well maintained. The roof terrace is amazing, you have a very good view of the city. The room is not big but very clean and the bed is also comfortable. The host Marie is the highlight of our stay, very nice and helpful. Unlike many hosts trying to selling you services and with not so nice restaurants, she always give genuine advice. She is a very kind-hearted lady! Definitely going to stay there again if I am going back to Tangier.

Excellent stay overall. Really nice host, Marie, careful with the details and always helpful. Comfortable room, with proper hot water. Very good breakfast. Very good situation, in a clean and secure area. Only, inside and around the kasbah, beware of "guides" who first seem they are helpful and at last ask you for money.

This is a very elegant, stylish and comfortable riad, run by a very elegant and stylish host! I felt safe here as a solo female traveller, and exceptionally welcome. The rooms and living spaces are beautiful, and the breakfast delicious. I strongly recommend staying here. The host was very kind and helpful with catching taxis, recommendations, and anything you might need.
