The stay was very nice. What I appreciated the most was the nature of the staff. Kadija was extremely kind and genuine—she was always there for us. She showed so much care for our child, always smiling, hugging, and kissing him with such affection. Her innocent nature and warm smile truly stood out. Mohammed was also very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Both of them made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

The address listed on the Booking.com site is different from the actual location. It shows the city of Marrakech. And the 2nd one is the narrow path leading to the property is quite dangerous for tourists. Sometimes new drivers or those unfamiliar with the area may find it difficult or even risky. I kindly suggest making the path wider or adding a parapet for safety. This would really help future guests feel more secure when arriving.

a quiet location of a mountain village, beautiful landscape, a nice and helpful personell, attractive and tidy house/hotel; cattering available; hot water, good parking

only minor details shall be improved (like broken shower) - not worth mentioning; restaurant prices shall be "less tourist and more local" (but the tajin was delicious on the other hand)

The hosts are an absolute delight - The Doctor (owner/patron) is very helpful, he's a renaissance man who is very well respected in the local area. He helped us out a great deal and between my broken French and his reasonable English we were able to communicate to a comfortable level without Google! Samira is a good cook and makes a mean (very tasty) tagine. She is very down to earth and a nice person. There is another woman who works there who is also very pleasant and efficient at her job, but I didn't catch her name. The view is breathtaking, waking up with that is really humbling, a truly stunning site. The site itself is very nice, really colourful and peaceful compared to the centre. Within walking distance in Ourika is a lovely river where you can sit and order food, there is also a hotel with a swimming pool and nice food about 35 mins walk if you turn right out of the accommodation. Free breakfasts and decent value for money are appealing. Fresh fruit on the trees and a sense of wellbeing staying here. There is a quaintness about the place, a family feel. I also enjoyed the random cats visiting for dinner, although I realise that isn't everyone's bag. The Dr blessed us with peppermint tea on our first night, that was very kind.

The room had dirty sheets when we arrived. The shower floods the bathroom floor. The toilet doesn't have a proper flush, you have to turn a metal thing and pull a bit of wire quite vigorously to get it to flush. No toilet rolls were initially provided, although we received one upon request, so be aware of that and turn up with a few just in case. It's a very pleasant accommodation, but still feels a little bit like a work in progress (there are plans for a swimming pool and jacuzzi I think). The television in the room didn't have a remote, or appear to switch on. Not a big issue for us as we didn't want to watch television, but for someone else it might be. The breakfast is complimentary, which is lovely, but it's kind of pot luck what you end up with. One day we had crepes, omelette, cafe au lait, peanut butter, honey etc, another we literally got some bread, oil and peppermint tea, so it did vary quite a bit each day. Other than the room needing a deep clean and some improvements though, it was a lovely stay.

I liked many things while staying in here: the well-designed place, the calm atmosphere and the excellent customer service by Sameera and Khadija. I was not planning to stay here for 2 nights but i decided to stay one more time because of the aforementioned qualities.

We really liked the accommodation. There were a few things lacking in the room, but after telling the staff, there was no problem in finding solution. Great breakfast as a big plus. Good location and really nice views. Recommended!! Thanks to Kadija, she was treating us very well, always smiling and without hesitation set up our breakfast earlier than commonly, since we had to go in the early morning.

The place in the mountains, welcoming tee and the terrace.

No toilet paper, a lot of noise on the stairs, no shampoo, no enough blanket even if it's very cold, and to finish breakfast it's a desastre: hanout bread, peanut amlou not at all traditional, beur not beldi....

Hidden gem with wonderful views. Best Tajine we had in Morocco prepared by Sameera. Khadija was very helpful too. Wonderful breakfast too. Breathtaking views from the terraces. On top of everything brilliant value for money.

Nothing negative to say about our stay here

The staff were friendly and helpful, but you do need to ask if you need assistance. The view was amazing. The restaurant food was amazing and the breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Lots of storage. Gives you an authentic experience of the Ourika Valley.

Initially tricky to locate. Follow the GPS, there is a concert carpark below the accommodation to park. We were hassled by the neighbours on more than one occasion, begging for money. By both elderly neighbours and children. Be ready to leave/organised/ know where you are going when setting foot out of the accommodation. The kitchen and fridge is where they run their restaurant from, you'll have to ask to use it/ awkward to try and use it. Kitchen is not part of your room as listed on Booking.com When using the shower, it wets the entire bathroom, walls and floor.
