Omar is the best host ever

The peace, decor, food, ambience were outstanding. From the moment we stepped into the pool area we felt relaxed and at home. The staff were incredible- leaving us to relax but there if we needed them Omar took care of everything,

When we arrived it was outstanding. It would have been helpful to be aware of the off road track you needed to drive down to find the hotel.

Dar Tafantant is a tranquil oasis in the Atlas foothills, surrounded by wide mountain views that immediately slow you down. The setting is calm and restorative; the kind of place where you can sit on the terrace or in the gardens and just take it all in. What really made my stay stand out, though, was Omar, the host. He’s warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming; the kind of hospitality that makes you feel at home straight away. His lemon-ginger lemonade became a little highlight of every day. With its beautiful location, authentic atmosphere and Omar’s hospitality, Dar Tafantant is more than just a stopover. It’s the perfect place to start a trip through Morocco or to escape the buzz of Marrakech for a while. I left feeling rested, grateful and connected to the surroundings. Shukran, Omar, for your kindness and for that unforgettable lemonade!

We loved our stay here. It’s very clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable, we slept so well. Location is very nice to relax, we decided to stay here 2 days at the end of our holiday and it was such a calm ending ro our holiday after the chaos of Marrakech. Food was really good too, all of the dishes we tries were without doubt the best we had during our trip. The staff, and hosts Omar and Mohammed are very kind and helpful, they were very accomodating with arranging things for my toddler.

One of the most beautiful hotel grounds I’ve seen. The views all around the property were incredible and there are so many different spots to relax and read your book. The food was also amazing, highly recommend the fish tajine. The manager was so attentive and ready to answer questions at any time of day. I highly recommend staying here.

The bed was quite hard although for 2 days it was absolutely fine. Our shower was blocked so it would flood the whole bathroom when we showered.

Excellent breakfast. Great mountain views all around.

The road to the place is a bit rough

Bliss! Total peace and quiet, amazing to get away from normal life. Stunning views and amazing food.

The host Mohammed and Omar made our stay very special. They couldn’t do enough for us. The property is beautiful and set in the most peaceful grounds. The food is amazing too. We will definitely be back. Get base for the Altas mountains. They run their own excursions. This is a must. Such a great day.

The property was clean and well looked after

There was no lock on the door to my room. The key wouldn’t lock the door and when we reported it, we were told it would be fixed in the morning of the following day but it wasn’t.

The staff, Omar and T Mohamed, were amazing with us. Looked after us so well. Arranged trips, pickups, and drop-offs with no worries. The food was excellent, and the scenery was unbelievable. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

A beautiful sanctuary to reset and immerse yourself in Moroccan culture. Gorgeous views of Atlas Mountains, beautiful interior design, delicious catering and wonderful staff. I travelled alone and would definitely recommend for solo travellers. Shukran Omar, Norah and Mohammed!

A gorgeous hotel in a stunning location with views over the valley and mountains. It's like a (Moroccan) home from home. Really comfortable and the perfect place to relax, especially after the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. There were lots of different spots around the property where you could sit and read or chat or just admire the view. The food was exquisite too and we couldn't have felt more welcome.

A perfect place to stay for some days and enjoy the beautiful scenery and calmness and enjoy the great food and nice pool. That is the only thing to do Definitely recommend especially if the weather is nice

The food was to expensive

Location, views, facilities, food, staff.

This location is very far from any shops / supermarkets. It would be great if they could provide snacks or smaller meals - as the only meals you can have are very big tagines at any point in the day which take long to prepare.

Wow! Everything, Omar and Mohammed, was wonderful in every way! The food was spectacular. The views and serene nature around the place was epic. The Hammam and Massage was amazing. All the little spaces to chill, including the pool, were super. The decoration was so beautiful and the room was spacious, comfy and really amazing. I will definitely be back to stay again for a longer period of time. This place is a must to get put of the craziness that is Marrakesh- thank you for your hospitality and the comfort of this little slice of nature!

It was an amazing trip. The breakfast was delecious, the staff was super nice, generous and friendly. I highly recommend it.

It’s a magical place where you can truly relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The host and staf are very kind and helpful. The facilities (room, restaurant, pool etc.) are all very good! Definitely recommend to stay here for a nice getaway!

The food was delicious, the swimming pool was clean, the place is very calm.

We couldn't stay in the room that we booked because the shower wasn't working in the bathroom

Such a special place! The views, the atmosphere, the food are all incredible. I felt like i had found an oasis amidst nature. The staff really make you feel like you're at home. It's a great place to go and unwind, detach from the outside world. The breakfast spread is so delicious.
