Breakfast was very good but we would have enjoyed the option of a cereal. Can't think of anything else.

A genuine bijoux hotel with delightful grounds and a spotlessly clean very good sized swimming pool and an exceptional spa. The service levels provided were personal, friendly and exceptional from every employee with whom we came into contact. They seemed to anticipate any possible need.

This small boutique hotel is stunning and if you take the time to read about its relatively short history and ethos, you’ll understand why. The owners have gone to great lengths to create a haven of tranquillity and beauty, matched by the kindness and graciousness of its staff. It’s a 15 min taxi ride into town so easy to dip in and out of the city for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. There’s no menu as such for breakfast, lunch or dinner but you served with fresh and tasty food. No bar but you just need to ask the staff for a drink if you want one. So peaceful, would go back in a heartbeat.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, we felt like being in paradise. It is a beautiful house on immaculate grounds, both being extremely well equipped and maintained. But the best of it all was the superb yet discreet service by Youssef and his team…always extremely friendly. Food was very good, breakfast, lunch and dinner - but also the „little extras“ such as water and mint tea&cake at the pool. We also enjoyed the opportunity of a private transport to the medina, coordinated by Youssef. Fixed price, excellent A/C vans and extremely friendly, English speaking drivers…this way you can easily combine the exciting hustle and bustle of the Medina with a relaxed stay at the quiet extended grounds at the Palmeraie.

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. Dar Zemora is a very special place. Beautiful rooms, a stunning pool area, croquet lawn, boule area and spa treatments all in an oasis of peace and quiet outside the centre of Marrakesh. The staff were all charming and so attentive and go out of their way to look after you or help you. The food was interesting and delicious. I highly recommend staying here if you love bird life beautiful immaculate gardens and peace. I shall definitely be returning as do many other guests. I took my 87 yr old mother and she has asked to go back already!! Thank you

Heaven. So peaceful and beautiful. The grounds are wonderful and it was a delight to see baby tortoises, tiny kittens and a huge array of birds. The staff have the great combination of being attentive but relaxed and the food was excellent. The interiors are gorgeous -the perfect balance of traditional Moroccan with a sort of mid century glamour -the place feels like it’s been there for well over its 20 years. Authentic and beautiful -no gimmicks or novelty value (or any sort of ‘instagram’ feeling, thank God!). In short, a very special place with integrity. 10/10. Oh! And the Hammam and massage were incredible!

It was my second time in Dar Zemora. I love everything about it- location, wonderful rooms, hanmam, swimming pool. But above all- truly special staff! Every single person working there is wonderful- always smiling, available and ready to make all your wishes come true.

It’s a beautiful and quiet hotel. The staff is amazing, food is delicious and our room was very spacious and beautiful. It’s located 20 min from the city but if you want to be away from the city and enjoy the nature and peace, this is the right place for you.

It would have been nice to have a fridge and a kettle in the room. The bed in our room is quite high making it quite cumbersome to get in.

Amazing gem in a middle of a beautiful garden. Boutique hotel with just 7 rooms suites, which makes you feel like you are at home away from home. All staff very friendly and attentive, yet fully respecting your privacy. We hope to visit again.

We loved everything about the property. The decoration was authentically Moroccan and there were nice touches everywhere such as our room having an open fire which was lit on a cold afternoon.

Nothing. It’s away from the medina, but that was a good thing for us!

This is such a special spot and I’ve never stayed anywhere that felt so much like a luxury boutique hotel but also like home. The staff were kind and attentive and gentle. The gardens are stunning. The food was great. From the hand-painted vaulted roof in the bathroom to the fresh flowers in the rooms to the pride with which the dinner is presented, everything was a complete dream and better than we could possibly have expected. We travelled with our 11-month old and everyone was so accommodating. A huge thank you to the staff for making our stay so lovely.

Absolutely amazing. Like no place we have stayed before. The staff were gentle and attentive, the building and gardens were beautiful and immaculate, the food was delicious. It was exactly what we needed and a very special place.

Everything was 100% wonderful and so this is our only very small negative comment, but we didn´t enjoy the dinner at all. We only had dinner once, so perhaps unfair to judge based on just one meal, however in our opinion too much effort was put into trying to make a fine dining experience & unfortunately the food wasn't really up to a fine dining standard! It would have been better to serve food that was more local & traditional to Morocco at a high standard, rather than trying to create something that probably wasn´t very natural to the chef! Breakfast was lovely, although personally we would have preferred the local yoghurt, rather than flavoured yoghurts, although this is NOT a criticism, the breakfast was delicious & especially the poached eggs!

The Riad was beautiful, it literally felt like we had gone back in time. All the staff were excellent and in particular Youssef who took care of absolutely everything including organising a fantastic tagine cooking experience at La Maison Arabe & booking our YSL Museum & Majorelle Garden tickets on his own personal credit card ahead of our arrival as I was struggling to book them from our previous desert stay location. Youssef was a true gentleman, nothing was too much & he made our stay special in every way! Afternoon tea & pastries by the pool were really wonderful!
