I like the region in which Dav Mahal ist , its one of the most beautiful and authentic in Morocco. Ataying in Dav Mahal made it even more special to me. The stuff was super nice and the breakfast was made of organic ingredients that are harvested in the region. If you are looking for a place to reconnect with yourself and enjoy a see that wild and empty, you are in the right place here !

Having dry toilets is awful, luckily they have other normal toilet outside, those are always kept clean by the team. They informed us that they may replace the dry toilets by normal ones soon Access to the beach is a bit difficult with kids

The place is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view that’s worth the trip on its own. The staff are extremely welcoming and always ready to help. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly – you really feel at home. Breakfast is homemade, generous, and of high quality with fresh products, which adds a special touch that makes this place truly unique. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. We will definitely be coming back!

The breakfast was great and plentiful and the view from the communal terrace was stunning. If you like being the only person on the beach this is the place for you. Our cabin (Fisherman) was very comfortable with a laid back and cool vibe.

The toilet was a manual compost toilet but the views and amenities at Dav Mahal make you forget about it very quickly

Incredible location and aesthetic. Definitely worth a visit for anyone who wants to live in paradise. The staff was very welcoming and kind, huge respect all the staff for keeping the place so clean and functional with such a good atmosphere.

I was locked out of the gate that leads to the beach so had to climb back into the property. I would t mind but I was shown this in my tour when I arrived that it was the path to the beach, then I was shut out. Also I had a broken electrical socket behind my head in bed which meant I had to keep a large cushion there to protect me from being electrocuted at night! This means I didn’t sleep too well as I am very tall and the cushion made the bed to short for me! Other that those two minor things it was a dream!

Extraordinary spot with an incredible view! Very lovely staff, good breakfast and very quiet and cosy atmosphere. The village is just before Cap Sim so you can take walks to watch the surf and take tea at La Grotte cafe on the point. Sunset, sunrise yoga, sun bathe on the terrace with the most wonderful view!

The location is amazing, very quiet and peaceful. The staff were lovely, very helpful at all times. Breakfast every morning has a great selection. A great place to unplug and relax with Essaouira a short drive away. Would recommend hiring a car to be able to get around the local area.

The food is great, the staff super friendly, the view is stunning! Essaouira is about 30min away and Mohammed is happy to drive you anytime. There's a little store also in the village. Rashida is a great cook and will make you lunch and dinner upon request.

The dry toilet was a bit more uncomfortable to use than we thought but we knew there would be one. It might be better to have a car to go around but those were not big issues at all everything was really nice.

I like everything about this place. The view is breathtaking, the breakfast was amazing everyone there was so nice and respectful.

Dav Mahal is located on a stunning spot overlooking the ocean. Nothing can beat the view and the serenity that it provides. Access to a beautifully quiet and peaceful beach is within a short walk. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the gardens are simply gorgeous and the main living room, with it’s tasteful and simple decoration will provide a very calming atmosphere to unwind and relax. The staff and it’s genuine hospitality make this place even more enjoyable, they are very warm, friendly and welcoming and will always be attentive to your needs. The breakfast is the best i ever had and the tagines are really delicious.

Tricky to get to the property or move around without owning a car. But there are many options .

This was my second time coming to Dav Mahal, and it was a magical stay. The Property is so pretty and well managed, the room for 1 is super cute with fair space. The living room area is my ultimate favorite, with the most amazing view ever, sitting there is the most therapeutic thing ever. The breakfast was delicious and consistent, and the lunch that I ordered was traditional and in good quantity. The staff were super friendly and helpful when needed. The property is calm and peaceful, allowing you to rest and disconnect from a busy life. Went to Sidi kaouki beach by a walk from the property, it took me 1 hour to get there, the walk was safe and super enjoyable ( just make sure to wear baskets and have enough energy)

Beautiful views over the ocean, very clean and well looked after. Incredible breakfast (the best we’ve had in Morocco). Hammam is a great extra touch. Very peaceful with direct access to the beach.

The accommodation is located in the surroundings of a local village, and in the morning, you can wake up to the crowing of a rooster or the braying of a donkey. We liked this authenticity, but if you need to be a better sleeper, feel free to bring earplugs.

This place exceeded our expectations. It is an incredible and peaceful place on the outskirts of a local village. The people were friendly, and the environmental aspects were nicely considered as part of the accommodation's operations. It was a pleasure to shop in the local village store, where there were no different "tourist prices". The locals were also friendly. There are great natural attractions nearby without the rush of tourists. The nearby village of Sidi Kaouki is also worth a visit. It is a bit dirty in places, but the counterbalance is beautiful nature as in the environment of the accommodation too (waves, sunsets, nearby sand dunes, etc.).

It’s a quiet village which is amazing if you want to get away from it all but without a car - we took a 100dhms taxi from essaouira - it’s limited beyond in that there is one small shop for essentials and one other restaurant - the excellent La Grotte! If this is what you’re after tho it’s perfect!

Amazing place in one of the most beautiful locations we’ve had the privilege of staying in. Everyone involved with this place were very kind and interesting chats with the owner in the mornings over endless coffee. Peaceful and quiet nights under the stars with virtually no light pollution made our stay even more magical. Lovely walk down to the beach and along to Sidi Kaouki for lunch one day. They don’t make enough of a deal about the Hamam and spa pool in the listing which was great to have after the warm days. Superb breakfast too and the evening meal we ordered one night was equally great. Would come back in a heartbeat. 😍 Loved our fisherman’s hut to stay in. So quiet and peaceful at night!
