How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewUniqueness and quietness
Although on ground floor our window had the outside shutter blinds down all the time. The window would be better as patio doors so you could access your own balcony area.

Verified reviewDouble charge and poor location The house is very far from the center of Marrakech. Each taxi ride cost €40, which made it very difficult to move around. When we arrived, we spoke with the owner (Yalal) and agreed to stay just one night and pay the Booking.com fees for the four nights, so he wouldn’t lose money. However, once we got back to Spain, we saw that he charged us everything: the full original booking and the new deal we had agreed on — meaning we were charged twice. We have filed a complaint with Booking.com and are waiting for a response. If the situation is resolved and we get our money back, we will remove this review. For now, we do not recommend this property.
Very dear Sir If you read the booking description carefully, our geographical location is very well explained. I would also like to point out that our cancellation conditions are free 21 days before your arrival. After this period, fees are charged and when you cancel the day before or the same day you must pay for your entire stay (which is normal because we took care to block your room for 1 month before your arrival). You will understand that in case of last minute cancellation, our room remains empty, which is a lack that has won for us. The person who charged you one night plus the Booking fees made a mistake. It seems to me dear Sir to have respected my commitment by sending you a transfer on 31/07/25 of €189. This covers the error made by the person who charged you an extra night as well as the booking commission fees. For our part, we have contacted Booking who assures us that we are in good standing with our conditions. In summary, you paid the four nights you had booked it was indeed free to you to leave or stay...... Take care of yourself

Verified reviewWe spent our first night in Morocco here. The drive from the airport was stressful at times, but we relaxed as soon as we arrived, being greeted with some tea and sweets. Breakfast plus a dip in the pool in the morning was a great start to our day - a long drive south.

Verified reviewNora is very lovely person and cooking very delicious. Working hard on cleaning and taking care about the place.
This villa does not match the photos. The furniture, paths in the garden, sun loungers, sofas and other things are already very worn out. There was constant construction of the garden and there is a construction site nearby. Also, noisy machines were used by garden workers. I was not provided with a cot, which was in the description, or a high chair. This caused us great inconvenience and stress. The first night I had to sleep with a one-year-old child in the same bed. Then I had to wait for two days for a high chair and it was impossible to feed the child. The workers did not speak English, which caused a lot of inconvenience. All the roads in the garden are broken or unpaved. I could not walk everywhere with my child, as there was very dirty uncultivated soil. In the villa itself, the sofas are old, and there are also cigarette burns on them. On the day of arrival, the house was very hot and smelled burnt, so it was difficult to breathe. There were also constant problems with taxis. I asked for a child seat in the taxi, but they were very irresponsible and sent a taxi several times without a child seat. On the last day, I was also cheated out of 30 euros and charged an extra fee for the taxi. Including the amount was debited from my card with a very high commission.

Verified reviewThe property itself is superb, beautiful and peaceful and quiet .
Just the distance from the city centre and the cost of taxi just to go to the medina which is expensive for me as it cost 30 euro or 300 in Moroccan money return. However, if you have a car and driving I will recommend this place as the ambience is really beautiful!

Verified reviewA very nice location with an impressive view of the mountains. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms and bathroom. However, the rating would be significantly higher if the accommodation fulfilled one of its main purposes: a comfortable sleep and good rest. Unfortunately, the vibrations from the rooftop air conditioning (heating) units are transmitted through the building’s structure just above our bed, causing almost constant noise throughout the night, which disrupted sleep and ruined both the rest and the overall impression of the stay. The irony was that we weren’t the ones using the heating—it was someone else in the building—but that same heating kept us awake and caused sleeplessness. I hope the staff will take care of this issue for the sake of future guests.

Verified reviewBeautiful place! Especially If you have a car this is the best place to stay at a very reasonable price. The staff and the owner are excellent at paying attention to all reasonable requests. It is located out of the city so it's nice and quiet. Just some occasional dog barking at night but nothing bothersome. Very clean and well kept. We definitely found our favorite place to stay when visiting Marrakech.
See you very soon Take care of yourself
