Beautiful location in Imlil. Host Saïd knows a lot about hikes in the area. Dinner was delicious.

Wonderful views and great host. Said helped us with tranport, organizing an amazing day hike in the area. Our breakfast was delicious, enjoyed every moment in Imlil.

I loved this place. Located above Imlil the views from my spotless room and roof terrace of the village and surrounding mountains were spectacular. Imlil village is charming and has many places to eat , or as I did twice, one can eat at Le Reflet where the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The pretty walk down to the village takes about fifteen minutes and is shaded by trees. Said was the perfect host; friendly, thoughtful and, helpfully for me, spoke perfect English. I very much hope to return before too long.

Nothing to dislike

Stayed with Said at Reflet D’Imlil for 3 nights in Oct 2025 as a solo female traveller and it was absolutely wonderful. Said is an AMAZING host and was available over WhatsApp leading up to my arrival and throughout my stay (he speaks English). He arranged both my transfers to and from Marrakech, and most importantly he arranged for my guide to take me into Toubkal National Park. He was born and raised in Imlil and used to be a guide in the park so he is knowledgable. He showed me the walking path to town and educated me about Imlil. He was also super accommodating with little things like check-in time, departure, equipment needs for my hike, etc. He wasn’t overbearing; just there when you needed him! The view from the room balcony is spectacular and is an amazing vantage point looking into the mountains. This was a very authentic stay, not a hotel.

Minor point - you have to walk about 10 mins on mixed paths to town. The whole town is somewhat structured that way, so just be prepared to walk up and down a few hills to get to and from places. You are in the Atlas Mountains, after all!

Amazing stay at Le Reflet d’Imlil! Said was super kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The place was spotless, much cleaner than I expected, and the views are just like a dream. I’ll definitely come back soon for a hiking adventure!

By far the best service in the region ! Tried 3 other hostels but this one is the perfect place to disconnect from the world and have a great retreat. Said - the manager - is so kind and very friendly ! Would definitely recommend !

The view from the roof terrace with the breakfast is amazing. Said is a very nice host and the rooms were good.

Would definitely recommend. Fantastic view from the roof terrace and private balconies. The owner was very accommodating and helped arrange both guided tours and suggested trails we could take ourselves.

The view from balcony, windows, rooftop is amazing and words cannot describe it. Room, bed was huge, cosy and very clean. Owner is very hospitable and helped us with planning our trekking. Breakfast was very tasty. Highly recommend and I hope to visit this place again

Bathroom floor drain is not well made so after shower water is all over the floor for some time

We had an amazing stay! Said made us feel welcome and even managed to gather walking shoes for us to be able to hike into the mountains. Breakfast was also really nice and the room had an amazing view!

The only thing to keep in mind is the final bit of road leading to the apartment. It is doable in a 'normal' car but be careful.

Everything. Starting with our host’ hospitality and kindness. He was really helpful and involved throughout the stay. The location, not in the central street of Imlil, is quiet and offers a great view. Also, it is a 15mn walk from the center and the walk is really nice. Note: The walk to is kinda steep so needs to be taken into consideration for some. For us it was no problem at all.

A wonderful 'home from home'. The hotel is immaculate and we could not have been looked after better. We chose to have our evening meals provided, as it is a steep walk up from the village and having walked all day we didn't want to move again! The food was excellent and we ate on our balcony overlooking the mountains. Our taxi from Marrakech was arranged for us, as were our day walks, so everything was very easy and it made the whole experience of visiting Imlil a delight.

The warm welcome and customer service from Said was beyond my expectations. I really appreciate how attentive and thoughtful he and his wife are. The food was delicious and filling and the view was spectacular! I spent most of my time watching the clouds rolling over the hills and drinking tea 🥰

The upstairs terrace is not completed yet, it was a little difficult to access. I hope the walkway up to the accomodation can have some safety bars installed on the side to make it easier for people to walk up. Once you are there however you forget the steep incline!

Our stay at Le Reflet D'Imlil was wonderful, and I loved so many aspects of it! What stood out most was the incredible hospitality from Said and his family. They were simply amazing hosts, so attentive to all our needs, always ready with fantastic ideas for hiking trails, and they prepared truly excellent food. I appreciated how clean everything was throughout the guesthouse, and the breathtaking views of Imlil and the surrounding mountains from the balcony and rooftop were absolutely stunning and made every moment feel special. I also really enjoyed the dining experience; breakfast was quite good and the flexibility to choose our mealtime was a nice touch. And while dinner was a little extra, it was undeniably delicious, with multiple courses that were very nice– I highly recommend trying at least one dinner there!

While my stay was overwhelmingly positive, there were just a couple of minor points worth mentioning. I found the dinner to be a little overpriced, even though it was undeniably delicious and multi-coursed. Additionally, the Wi-Fi signal wasn't consistently strong. However, for me, this wasn't a major issue as I was there to disconnect and immerse myself in the beautiful surroundings of Imlil. These points were minor in the grand scheme of an otherwise exceptional experience.

I had a very pleasant stay with my husband. The place was clean and comfortable. The staff was really welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We had one of the best dinners there, the tagine was really good 👍 😋. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing with a great view stay. Finally, I would like to thank the host for the great hospitality!

Said was incredible! He helped us plan out mt Toubkal hike ahead of time and was very welcoming once we arrived. The food was delicious and the property was very nice. Highly recommend
