Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomLiving close to a village it is inevitable that you are woken to the payer call. I slept with earplugs the second night and could fall asleep again.
After a horse riding for 7 days I wanted somewhere to chill. Quiet beautiful and scenic views. The little cottages are spacious and spotlessly clean. The pool was lovely and the garden areas very well maintained. The views of the mountains superb. Just to sit and watch the birds and relax a real tonic. The best though is the hosts Davide and Fatiha who are warm and welcoming and make the place what is is just excellent in every way.

United KingdomThe internet / wi-fi is patchy. For some reason it was necessary to go outside to get wi-fi: there was none in the bungalow.
The food was generally absolutely superb, specifically breakfast and supper. There was no choice as such in the evening but it was very good and the children loved it. They also accommodated various food allergies. The accommodation was really charming and they provided bed configuration specifically for our group (1 adult, 3 children)

SwedenOur bed was very uncomfortable and hard, and it made us wake up several times during the night. However, this was the only reason I am not giving it a 10.
Loved almost everything! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, great hammam, the service, the food was DELICIOUS, the donkeys were cute and loved the little rooftop terrace on all houses and the access to the pool.

United KingdomIt wasn’t a problem for us, but some people might want to know that the drive in is a mile up a rough track.
It was a secluded compound with lovely views. It only sleeps 10 or so and was lovely and peaceful as we were the only guests on our first night.

United KingdomThe location is remote and unless you want to rely on expensive transfers I'd recommend car hire.
Stunning. More than we expected and at the time of our stay there was only one other party so felt like we had private hire! The little house with your own roof terrace was a welcome suprise with views to die for and the staff were very kind and couldn't do enough for you. We had a great stay here and would highly recommend.

United KingdomNothing, it was perfect. I suppose the only thing to be aware of -- which isn't a negative -- is that it is 50 minutes from Marrakech, but we loved this as it felt like a real piece of Morocco and so quiet compared to the bustle of Marrakech. Driving in Morocco isn't for the faint of heart, but we managed and the large roads to the hotel are in very good condition, just the small road through the village to get to the hotel is unpaved.
The property was fabulous -- even better than the pictures. We stayed in the Lise cottage, which far exceeded my expectations. Beautifully decorated and larger than I had imagined. Very comfortable for two adults and two children. Our hosts and all of the staff were absolutely lovely! They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, such nice people. The common spaces were heavenly -- beautiful gardens and the animals were very sweet to have around. Food was phenomenal, we had breakfast every day and dinner most nights, and all was delicious.

GermanyIf there are guests in the other villas close by, it could impair the experince a bit, but it seemed to me that guests are distributed as far away from each other as possible.
Unbelievable beautiful paradise on earth, the location, the animals, the mountains around, the furniture around the pool is so so beautiful. You would not expect this beauty when the gates of le jardin open. - spacious little wodden villas - if there´s 2 people - beautiful bathroom with well-smelling shampoo - cute animals on the property - our villa was in front of the donkey area - so amazing - the leather up to the villas roof is a bit unsafe - not suitable for immobile people - but the view was amazing (mountains and olive trees) - amazing pool area - a real paradise if you are by yourself - nice breakfast (aks for savory options) - in the area (Ourika) you find nice hiking and restaurants at the lakes - you need a car!! - friendly staff - awesome Hamam! - options of books and nice Tajine in the restaurant on the property
