How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewWe had an amazing stay! The place had a real boutique charm to it. It was very tranquil with fantastic pool, lounge and dining areas. Everyone who worked there were absolutely brilliant, friendly and so helpful and accommodating. The place felt like home for the time we were there. Loved it!

Verified reviewWe’d been to Marrakech before, so walking around the city wasn’t a big priority. We wanted a few days of relaxation, and this charming hotel didn’t disappoint. The outdoor areas were beautiful and with only two other guests, we pretty much had the pool to ourselves. All communal areas were spotless and the staff were kind and attentive. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Other meals were okay.
Our bathroom had a leaky shower cubicle, which could have also done with a good scrub. This meant a small pool of water on the bathroom floor with every shower. The outlet was also blocked. In the hotel’s defence, I don’t report it. The shower had clearly been leaking for sometime and I wasn’t that bothered to be honest. This is the only reason I haven’t given the hotel full ratings.

A car, taxis, motorcycles, or bicycles are required ( price between 7€-15€) We are sorry to hear that you didn't have hot water, as we have no issues with our facilities. Thank you for letting us know so we can check. Customer satisfaction is our priority. There was indeed a wedding at our neighbors' nearby; it was a bit noisy. We booked as all inclusive and on most occasions were provided with a meal of the establishments choosing even if we had requested other options. It felt more like Full Board with no menu choice after day 1. Options limited and repetitive and drinks were not offered freely. Also no alcoholic beverage or snack options provided.

Verified reviewA wonderful peaceful location away from the buzz of Marrakech centre. Beautiful views and warmth of the welcome by all the staff. A great location for lazing around the beautifully kept pool with Cabanas and sunbeds to relax on. 15 mins cab to the Old Town gives this a real 2 centre holiday feel to it.
Tea and coffee making facilities either in the rooms or in the communal areas would be a welcome addition for guests.

The rooms are a little outdated and the room WiFi could be better (but it’s super fast in the main house and by the pool) - but the service and the little touches are incredible.

Verified reviewWe chose the hotel based on photos of the pool which did not disappoint! New lounger cushions too and very comfortable day beds. A great place to have our meals provided by very polite Abdo. Also Layla and Lubna were extremely helpful. The bed was large and comfortable and the door shutter provided excellent security. There was a huge outside terrace and the property is in beautiful well maintained gardens full of birdsong. Breakfast was delicious and served with fresh orange or carrot juice.
The hotel is definitely an oasis in a desert of construction that seem to be either worked on or abandoned. As we had no transport we got a bus from the airport then hired a medina based taxi who couldn’t find the property so an hour was wasted driving around and around the area as I had no signal and there was no signage from the main road. We were helped by Lubna to locate the property. Not a nice area to walk in either, about a km off the main road. The Wi-Fi was extremely weak. We ate our evening meals from the menu. Not all items were available and pricing structure needs to be reviewed. Quite expensive for the amount offered but always extremely tasty.

It's quite far away from anything, so you'll need a car or motorbike to get around once you arrive.

Verified reviewContact with the hotel was really good and fast replies. We had an accident on the day of arrival and Layla and her partner were kind enough to pick us up from the accident site. It was really quiet and peaceful. The food was delicious.
