Transport to and from Marrakech with taxi quickly becomes expensive. A shuttle service with some fixed hours would be a big plus to this hotel.

A calm boutique hotel with a limited amount of rooms. The staff is available and nice. Chilling during the day at the pool is very nice with the beds.

Check in, we had a bit of a wait as the rooms were not ready but we did arrive early and the hotel were informed of this.

Everything about this place was top notch, the setting, the spa facility and the tranquility of the Hotel with a gym on site should you want a work out. The staff were amazing and could not do enough for you. especially Mr Shakur and Yusef the ultimate bar staff and all round breakfast and dinner hosts . The receptionists. lovely ladies. The chefs. Mouth watering food. The spa and masseuse, amazing. I am a Sport therapist myself and have to say, she was good!. The manager Salima, always had time for you and very approachable and attentive to guests needs.

The pool could have been heated, appreciate there were only a few guests and we were out quite a lot of the time. I wouldn't not book again though for this reason. It was lovely to lay on the sunbeds around the lovely pool.

A truly stunning small boutique hotel. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and really looked after us. A special mention to Salah who was incredibly helpful, kind & always greeted you with a smile. The decor with amazing with the most stunning paintings. Outstanding breakfast and delicious dinners too. Garden & pool were beautiful. We played golf at The Royal Marrakech Golf Club which was excellent and the highlight of the trip was going on a hot air balloon with Marrakech Dream Balloons. It was incredible and not at all scary!

The fact that I had to leave!

Ok, so where to start? This is my second time at the Palais Anthea and will not be my last! The Oasis of Marrakech. From the booking to the welcome, my expectations as a seasoned traveler were met and went well beyond. The Environment was idyllic, peaceful and calming from the moment I arrived. The staff were the star of the show, not a single "ask" was too much trouble but also not overbearing either. The rooms, again spotless and comfortable, with fresh mineral water(as much as is needed) provided everyday to the room. Cleaning was done at my leisure and even on the days that I ate breakfast late, the rooms were cleaned the moment I was relaxing by the pool so as not to disrupt my day in any way, they would as if it was ok to clean my room! Food! Food! Food! From breakfast to snacks to proper meals, everything fresh cooked to order and never waited more than 10 minutes for food to arrive. If your luck to stay then try Chefs Lemon Tart! Simple but the best I have ever eaten! My last words on the Palais Anthea...JUST GO!

Very difficult to find much not to like. Maybe the towels could have been a little fluffier and there were a few things like the grouting in the shower/ bath that needed repointing, but who cares about that !

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, staff are wonderful, Salah on the front desk can arrange and sort out everything you need, you just have to ask. Don’t panic on the drive there it is a little way out of the town but once you get behind the gates it’s absolutely magical. The place is a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the medina areas of the town. The rooms are a great size, plenty of space and very comfortable. They have front and back patio areas for relaxing in. Most of the time it felt like we had the place to ourselves there is so much outdoor space.

Just a technicality that is not the hotels fault, the road coming in had alot of construction, so it felt very off road at times. The towels provided could be refreshed, because some of them had small holes in it, amd small stains, but that didn't bother us much, maybe just something to invest in for future, and the same the shower has small parts that could have been more cleaner and same with the carpet that was covering the stairs around the bed, was visibility not hoovered before we arrived and wasn't hoovered while we were staying either. There was shampoo but no conditioner, in the shower and shower gel was gone by day 2. And we wished sometimes that the language barrier wast as big, so we could chat more with the staff, but that is okay, as we were the visitors in your country. But none of these small things ruined our holiday, just little things for improvement.

We were extremely late on arrival, because of the difficulties in the airport, on arrival, we were greeted by the ground keeper that brought us to the reception, everything went smoothly there, we paid and were brought to the room. It was 10pm. But somehow, the lovely staff still got us 2 bowls of pasta because we were starving. The staff were really lovely, the hotel was like a paradise when we woke up. Our breakfast was brought to us in the small front of the terrace by our room. Breakfast was beautiful and fresh. They served it very fast after we let them know that we are ready for it. Next and the following morning, they remembered that I liked my tea without sugar and that my partner liked his eggs fully cooked. That small detail made me very happy. The staff were very respectful and made us feel very happy and welcomed at all times. Pictures really matched the hotel. I did not get the names of the two men that took shifts taking care of the front if the desk, but they were both very nice and helpful. The male staff on day time was great, incredibly respectful, all the time smiling and happy to do his job. We had a dinner on the last night, and we were made to feel very special. It will be a great memory for us as this was our first holiday together. Thank you so much

Location. The property is very remote. The main town Medina is 30 minutes drive by taxi.

The only downside is the somewhat weak internet connection. If you rely on it, this could be a slight inconvenience, especially if you need to work.

A True Gem – Pure Relaxation! We stayed at the Palais Anthea Boutique Hotel & Spa in September 2024 and had a wonderful time. It’s a very small hotel with only a few rooms. From the room, you have a direct view of the large pool, and in the morning, you can stroll straight from the bedroom to the pool – a unique experience! The hotel is a true oasis, a real paradise. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The location is outside the city center, which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. You can easily take a taxi into the city for dinner in the evening. We will definitely return to this little gem!

There was nothing we didn't love about this hotel

This boutique hotel is an oasis of calm. If you want to totally relax and enjoy a mix of the mayhem of the city, this is the place for you. You do need to pay for a taxi into the city which may restrict your number of visits, but the calmness and quality of this hotel make up for the distance and cost

Everything was fantastic!! Amazing customer service is an understatement for how amazing the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was up to spec. Myself and my mum truly had a relaxing and enjoyable time. Only way to describe the place is SPECTACULAR. Will definitely be going again and highly recommend everyone to do the same.

Unfortunately the jacuzzi was not working throughout our stay, however they did try to fix it. We found the food choice relatively limited and the hotel is out of reach of other restaurants or delivery service. Be aware that the road approaching the hotel was difficult for our small rental car, more appropriate for larger cars.

Beautiful paradise, absolutely stunning. Lovely, helpful staff. We will definitely be back and 100% recommend this place! The negatives mentioned below are just to make others aware; they did not detract from our amazing experience in this beautiful hotel.
