We had a great stay at Riad 22 - L'Etoile d'Orient and Badr contributed a lot to it - he’s simply an amazing host. Breakfast is delicious, though some fruit would be welcome. Be prepared for early - call to prayer - wakeup calls. The souks are reached in 6-7 minutes.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The location was great, walking distance to the main attractions, souks and lots of lovely restaurants. The Riad was lovely and the owner Badr and his team were great, very helpful and accommodating! They even gave us an early breakfast the day we flew. Could not recommend a stay more!

A little difficult to find, especially as our flight landed late and it was dark and the taxis don’t reach the property. Still, our host helped us out.

Breakfast was nice but not stand-out amazing. We did have some fantastic breakfasts in Morocco, and by comparison this one was largely bread and syrups/oils. That's a minor failing though - it certainly felt authentic and was tasty.

The pool area is beautiful, and provides fantastic and much-needed refreshment in the summer sun. Large enough to swim (just) which is pretty big amongst Riads! The location is near enough to easily access the medina, although perhaps the wrong side for some of the most touristy areas (it's still very walkable though, even in the heat).

This place is stunning: excellent location with a nice pool that was great when resting in the afternoon after visiting the city in the morning and before goinf out for the evening. The decoration and interiors are really nicely done. This was a real riad where the internal garden did not have a plastic roof. There was a terrace where we had breakfast and and even higher one where to sunbathing. I stayed with my family, we had two rooms. The staff (Badr) was supernice with us but at the same time very effective: he walked us around to show how to get safely to the riad, where to eat, where to get water, etc... He suggested some good restaurants; some unpretentious with great food and some more touristic but with high quality vs price. He really pampered us. I even checked on us if we managed to get back to Italy safe!! Really great guy.

Badr is a great host, he came and picked us up where the taxi dropped us off to show us the way to the Riad, and welcomed us with tea and cookies while giving us tips for what to see and do during our stay. The room was also nice and clean and with AC. The shower was a tiny bit clogged so that it took a few minutes for the water to drain completely, but other than that everything went smoothly. The breakfast was also delicious and very abundant.

In the 36 countries I’ve visited, I can honestly not think of a hotel that I’ve enjoyed stopping in more. Clean, quiet, amazing location, tasty breakfast. But most of all, the highlight of the hotel is the legend that is Badr. From the moment I arrived, he did nothing but go out of his way to be helpful. A cheerful face that will do anything to help you have a fantastic time in Marrakech. Thank you Badr and if you are looking for a hotel in Marrakech, look no further!

What I liked most about the facility was the manager's approach to customers, not just me but all guests. He's helpful, accommodating, and always available. As for the facility itself, the pool is a great place to stay, as is the common area for guests. Breakfast is fresh and made on site. We highly recommend it to everyone.

Easy to find it. The taxi can leave you on the main road and the Riad is less than 5 minutes away. Also directions on the street with the name on it to follow. Walking distance to the Medina and modern part of the city. Small Riad, just few rooms so was quiet and peaceful. Badr was very nice, attentive and helpful all the time. I surely recommend to stay.

Such a great little gem in the heart of Marrakech. The Riad is situated in a quiet area close to everything. Badr is a fantastic host, very helpful and kind. The Riads location is very good, close to everywhere. Badr, with his friendlines and kindness& helpfullnes made it exceptional. Very nice traditional Riad with its georgeous Maroccan breakfast and mint teas.. Enjoyed it a lot.

A quiet, cozy oasis just steps away from the madness of the medina. There are only a handful of rooms, so it's very calm, and the shared spaces by the pool and on the roof terrace are lovely too. The riad is well sign-posted, which makes it easy to find. Badr really made our stay extra special – he was super helpful and kind, and we appreciated him taking the time to chat and even help with our darija! We hope we'll be able to return one day.

My father and I had a truly lovely experience at this riad. Badr was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere was peaceful and beautifully decorated. Our room was clean, cozy, and full of color. The breakfast was a perfect everyday. I Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for an authentic Moroccan experience.🤍
