Location is not the greatest and if you are a solo female traveller or someone with family who has not experienced travelling to certain neighbourhoods that involves walking through dark alleys can be quite daunting. Travelling with young children can be challenging when it comes to finding suitable food nearby. Many of the local food outlets do not meet the hygiene standards that most tourists would expect, and they are often makeshift eateries rather than places where you would feel comfortable sitting down to dine. Food options in the immediate area are quite limited, so unless you eat at the riad or make the effort to travel out to a proper restaurant, it can be difficult—especially when children want to eat at specific times.

Hussain and the young boy I believe his name was Mohammed were both really lovely and welcoming. The lady that helps in the kitchen was also really lovely. The Riad itself is really beutiful and well kept and the staff were always at hand to make things more comfortable.

From the moment I stepped into this riad, I felt as though I’d been welcomed into a friend’s home rather than just checking into a hotel. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Every little detail — from the mint tea on arrival — made me feel valued as a guest. Breakfast was a highlight — fresh pastries, seasonal fruit, and homemade jams served by the pool side. The service was unhurried yet efficient, allowing me to relax and savor the moment.

Would have preferred a bigger double bed, softer bed. Plus, it's at the north edge and therefore a bit of a walk into some of the top tourist areas. However, all very doable and great to experience life in the Medina.

Helpful and friendly staff. Small but perfectly formed Riad. Tasty and generous breakfasts. Lovely and clean. Nice plunge pool and sun terrace. Inside the Medina but a hidden away gem.. You can walk where you need to go. An enjoyable stay.

The property is a little way out, so ask them to sort out a taxi. Then you can be sure you will get a good deal. Local neighbourhood very traditional but always felt safe and nice to be away from them drama.

The Riad was amazing, large room for four. Beautiful roof terrace and the hosts were amazing. Did everything you asked and above. We had dinner at the hotel and it was incredible, breakfast was lovely with an awesome variety of bread, coffee, fruit and the best jam ever. Rooms cleaned to such a high standard. Nothing too much trouble. Evening meal was fantastic. I am not good in cold water but my friends loved the pool. Air conditioning in room, dark rooms.

Beautifully decorated, very stylish riad in a great location within minutes from the square. The person in charge of the riad was just amazing, exceptionally friendly, helpful, with perfect English. Our small son got really thirsty in the middle of the night as we ran out of drinking water, so we were really grateful that the man running the place took the effort to go to the kitchen and offer us a big bottle of water. Small detail but very appreciated when traveling with kids.

Beautifully decorated, and a really nice roof terrace. Peaceful at night. It is a bit far from the main square but is ok to walk in about 30min. The breakfast was nice.

Very quiet, peaceful atmosphere, big spacious room, roof top terrace to chill , breakfast was really good and Mohammed was so helpful and kind. Would go back and stay without a doubt.

Loved everything about it

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Houssain, Mustafa and the team were friendly and helpful. Everything about the Riad was exceptional from breakfast to the room, It was clean, stylish with excellent service. Food was great and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. My friends are I were very pleased with our stay. We hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. Thank you so much to the team, it wouldn’t be possible without them, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to book with them.

Just a bit far out for us a group but transport arranged by mustah and hussein whenever we requested it

- I slept well, but the mattresses are on the harder side (as of May 24' - they may change/unsure) - swimming pool is more of a fountain pool/ you won't be swimming any lengths there - outside the property there were some locals/teens one night who attempted to give me false information and then direct me and request money from me once I got to my riad, IGNORE them completely (best option) or tell them to seer fihalek/go away, this happened to us/they followed us and eventually the man looking after us at the riad told them to go away (helps if you speak arabic or french)

- hospitality was great, always asked us how we were doing/if there was anything we needed and then provided anything we requested - the proprietor told us to download maps.me to assist with GPS, this ended up being very useful and I used it for the remainder of my trip, even in different cities - the terrace is a nice place to have breakfast

Everything’s good!

Lovely and comfortable Riad, Mohamed is so friendly and helpful, made us delicious breakfast in the morning, organised taxi for our trips, looked after my mother in law’s medication, gave us very good trip advice.

The pool water was cold, even though it was 34 degrees outside. The location is not very central, and in the evening it was not comfortable for us to go out to eat in the Medina (20-30 min walk)

The guys at the reception, Houssain and Mustapha, very warm people, extremely kind, attentive to our safety and helped us with everything we asked. The courtyard of the riad is extremely beautiful and quiet. It's so nice to sit outside and hear the birds sing, a true oasis of peace. The breakfast food is very good. We asked them to make us eggs so that they would be a little more consistent.
