Beautiful terrace with wonderful view, excellent breakfast and very kind staff.

Our bathroom had a problem with sewage waters and made all the room smell awful. Also a big group came in at midnight and made a lot of noise.

The riad is easy to find, close to bahia palace, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was put on early so that I could get to the airport.

Very well located and easy to find back. Nice premises. Very helpful staff, possibility to get the breakfast earlier (as we needed to leave early for the airport).

The location was great, very nice design, staff were super friendly and kind.

I think in general in most of the Riad as you have open space and shared area, it is not much quiet during the day. So, if you want to sleep after lunch or during the day, it is not quiet. But it is easy to make friendships with other guests and hang out.

The host was incredibly nice and eager to help. She even made us a small breakfast to go since we were leaving earlier than the actual breakfast time for our daily trips. The riad itself was also very beautiful and cosy, as well as the terrace

Not a big deal but the breakfast could start a little earlier (it starts at 8:30) since most trips require you to be there at 7:30/8:00.

The location of this riad is spectacular.

The rooms don't match the pictures on Bookings.com I paid for a superior room which was very basic. There were much nicer rooms in the riad that were empty, these don't seem available when booking. Towels were worn (with actual holes) and not refreshed so very damp. No swan towels, no rose petals and no lovely side lamps. No toilet roll holder. No glasses in the room or drinking water provided. Very basic breakfast of breads and jams, no fruit. I requested a gluten free breakfast in advance of arrival, which then wasn't available on the first day. We ran out of toilet paper and had to hang towels outside to dry. Beds are fine but pillows were awful, we had too many beds (4) in our room. Lots of noise from other rooms. Roof terrace is basic and not set up with seat cushions, so impossible to use comfortably. The hot tub and area around it was not in use. Reviews on Google are from local guides rather than tourists, so very misleading.

There were two electric doorbells. No one worked and they knew this. No mechanical doorbell and no any note.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was close to the jemaa and easy access to the main roads. The breakfast was brilliant aswell. The price and value were brilliant.

We booked this Riad to spend a weekend with our adult children who joined us during our 2 weeks trip. The cost of the stay was very attractive due to a promotion, and having 4 rooms available fit within our budget. The reviews and the rating of 9.1 really inspired confidence in me. The location is ideal in the Medina, near Mellah Square, easily accessible by taxi. We loved the fresh orange juice at breakfast. We loved the nice essential oil fragrance that we could enjoy in the morning.

Our group was unanimous on 3 very specific points: 1/ This Riad is very noisy, and it's not necessarily due to the construction work nearby - which is already very loud - the staff is very loud, talks and calls out without any restraint, juste as if they were alone in the place. 2/ "Cleanliness leaves really a lot to be desired; there are a lot of hair in the the showers, on the bedding, on the carpets (despite room turnovers, we didn't hear a vacuum from Friday to Sunday). Pillows have no protection, they are old and stained. 3/ The staff behave as if the clients aren't there. In exemple: extended stays in the kitchen at the back chatting, no one available to answer the door when someone rings late (it happened the first night, resulting in someone banging on the iron door, waking everyone up, my daughter in law had to come down from the second floor to open the door and put an end to the banging). I had medications that needed refrigeration, and it took a long time to wait and watch if we saw anyone. I eventually had to dare to go directly to put them in the fridge despite a big unwelcoming sign saying 'access forbidden - staff only.' I also didn't like not having access to water bottles in the rooms, nor the fact that we weren't even offered water or tea when we stayed an hour in the common room before our departure. It's a shame, but we didn't experience much hospitality in this Riad compared to all the other places we went during our 2 weeks stay. The staff is cordial but there is really nothing over the top, nothing generous like we could experience at some other places, they just do their job, nothing more and they stay between them most of the time. To resume, as you might have already guessed, I would not recommend this Riad.
