The actual property we had no complaints about. However when we arrived in the small square, a man was there with a cart and said he would take our bags. It was implied he was part of the hotel. We only had one case so declined…. To find it was only a 30 second walk from hotel. Also younger boys were telling us we weren’t allowed to go through a no entry sign for a pedestrianised /motorbike walkway and they would ‘show us the way’. We were half expecting something like this so after being followed by them down the alley they eventually left us alone having been firm with them. Turns out that you can walk up the no entry street. That sign was intended for vehicles only. The lads still asked for money even though they hadn’t shown us the way!

The staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. The riad was lovely and the breakfast was great.

As far as we could tell on Bookings.com website the Riad should take credit card payments, however on settling our bill for extras such as Spa treatment/washing, we were told cash only. We did see the sign at reception 'cash only' however as they also had a card machine we assumed we could pay with card, and to cash money in Morocco is expensive and the ATMs constantly ran out of money/ or didnt work.

A lovely Riad, just as described and clean and comfy beds, and air-con worked well. Hassan was very welcoming and informative, couldnt do enough for you. Breakfast served on the roof top in morning was excellent with option to have omelette/eggs - all home made and fresh, especially the jams/honey and yoghurts! The location is down a quiet alley and you cant hear a thing from the hustle and bustle during the night. Walking distance, 5-10min, to all the main attractions. We asked if they could do a wash for us as we were running out of clean clothes (only packed a small rucksack each) and this was no problem, only a few euros.

    Nothing. It was perfect.

Amazing. We loved this Riad. Our room (suite) was spacious and so comfortable. Lots of comfy couches outside to relax. Really awesome breakfast. Hassan and Moha are so kind and helpful and they make you feel at home. We really recommend the Hamman and massage. Its luxurious. Its a great location with some nice restaurants nearby and walking distance to many sights.

    I liked everything

The riad is beautiful. Despite its location in the medina, it was quiet and relaxing. We were well taken care of by Hassan. We couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you for sharing this beautiful gem.

I think the Riad, while beautiful, lacks a bit of charm or enchantment. I think it is good for winter time, probably not for summer; a pool would have made a huge difference. The lounge is beautiful but a bit dusty.

It was very clean, beautiful and spacious rooms and the breakfast was delicious. Also the Spa offers really good massage.

They couldn't arrange their spa facilities because they didn't have staff at that time and we had to look around. There were a couple of spas nearby which were way more cheaper. Also the receptionist could have been a little more friendlier.

the riad gave off an atmosphere that felt like true Moroccan culture. the suite's view was splendid and the wifi worked properly.

Where the Riad was situated, the location was set with in the old Mendina but it along one of the narrow streets tucked round the corner but alway locals hanging about who tell you “no entry” so they can take you and then ask for money.

The Riad was spotless, the breakfast was lovely and staff were fantastic.

Peaceful place in the middle of a bustling city, their spa is a must!

Nothing to do with the Riad itself or the staff - the use of motorbikes on very narrow streets wasn't good, but this is a local issue, and you do get more used to it the longer the stay!

The staff were exceptional: incredibly friendly, nothing was a problem, everything was both professional and welcoming. The place was immaculate also, which I imagine takes much work due to the local dust! The Riad itself was like a little oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle: location is excellent if you want to visit the markets, Jeema El-Fna and be in a central location. Once inside the Riad though it was peacefully quiet, with a very zen atmosphere. We took several trips to visit Morocco more widely and found the location quite good that we were an hour or less to the places we wanted to visit, with taxi options booked directly from the Riad. The breakfast each morning was lovely, and having different areas to sit each day was a bonus. We also both used the spa and highly recommend - as someone who gets regular massage, and goes to spas across the world, this was one of the best experiences I've had in years! It definitely added to our experience.

Nothing really. Maybe just my little preferences. We knew in advance that there's no TV but to us it would be even better to have it. But it doesn't affect our stay at all.

Excellent location walking distance to almost all tourist attractions within Medina. Only 20 mins ride to/ from Marrakech airport. The place itself is so relaxing. We stayed in the golden room called Doree room. Feel like staying in resort. Kind cleaners came in daily to tidy our room. Feel so relaxed during our stay there. Staff and Guesthouse owner were lovely and very kind to us. Highly recommended.

    None.

The riad is 7 min walk to Jemaa el efna square. It has a relaxing recieving area for an afternoon tea. The staff were very thoughtful and accommodating which we appreciated a lot. They even prepared a takeaway breakfast as early as 7am as we were scheduled for a very early excursion one morning. They gave safety tips for first time comers in Morocco. We love that they have a spa facility to experience traditional Hammam and massage after a tiring day. The room service is exceptional as the room was tidied daily. The whole stay felt like you have a family in a foreign country as they took care of even the smallest thing we need. Will definitely coming back! Thanks Hassan and Moha!

The only fault I could find was the bed was a bit close to the wall, but I soon got used to that!

The breakfast was very good and substantial. The riad is in a very quiet location, but only a minutes walk from the souk, with restaurants and shops nearby! The room was very comfortable, with a good walk-in shower, plenty of hot water, and very clean.

The cats who gather outside the property. Cats are everywhere in Marrakech but someone nearby must be feeding them and there were often 5 or 6 of them

Only thing is in area walking all the cats fed chicken and there can be a smell of chicken outside on walk to riad (but once inside riad itself is very clean)

Nice rooftop area where breakfast is served with areas of shade, 5-6 tables, perfect breakfast in morning (bread, James, butter, cheese, egg, yoghurt, tea or coffee and some extras each day). Excellent staff - Mo and Hassan - very accommodative with great knowledge of the area. The hamam/spa staff also very good. Location pretty good and close by to everything Big bed, not noisy, nice ground floor, and seating in 1st floor and rooftop to relax Clean rooms and toilets

We didn't enjoyed the roads near to the riad. Filled with motorcycles and dust, but luckily, after a short walk you get out of it - that if you chose the right direction. Still, this is not riad fault, reason why they get 10/10 from me - but maybe in time they will vote/ push to have Marrakesh also adopt a motorbike free medina which will help traders, tourists and life in general. Not to mention that they should get a license to ride motorcycles, after an exam! - never saw so many (light) crashes in my life, while driving in Morocco

A very beautiful riad, a beautiful room connected to the top terrace (at least for us) which in turn was also beautiful and cozy. For the time we spent in it - which except sleeping was little - was perfect for us. Thank you for our hosts who took good care of us and were communicative and helpful - Thank you for having us.
