Some of the furniture - especially outdoor furniture e.g. sun beds - were a bit dated. Could do with a refresh.

This is a truly unique hotel. Incredible garden with stunning views, and beautifully decorated interiors. Very good breakfast and dinner. Driving distance from Essaouira. Very friendly staff. Overall, one of the best hotels we stayed at in Morocco.

Beds, mattresses and pillows are not designed for humans, we wake up every day with back and neck pain due to mattresses and pillows bad quality. Shower is literally dripping without any pressure...it took us forever to take a shower. Even though the location is 10 minutes driving from Essaouira but a car is a must because of 2 minutes of horror skid, unpaved and dark road leading to the riad.

Decor and design is a masterpiece, location is calm and quiet (10 minutes by car to Essaouira), view is mesmerizing, loved the heated pool,breakfast is limited but very delicious , and the staff is very friendly specially jalal is soo adorable but try to avoid the French owner.

Some rooms don’t have air con which would be a problem peak season. Water pressure in showers weak It is off the beaten track so not easy to find.

It is set out of town overlooking the dunes and sea(an hour walk) - we were happy with this but does need a taxi in and out which the owners were happy to book. Peaceful setting, beautiful pool area, traditional rooms with quirky finishes throughout hotel and gardens. Lovely staff.

I liked everything about Riad Tamayourt!

Everything! Riad Tamayourt is wonderful. The staff is wonderful and the proprietor, Mariam is a fantastic cook and did everything to make our stay wonderful.

Can’t think of anything really.

The riad was amazing, with lots of art pieces, colourful, great energy, with adorable pets, amazing breakfast, delicious fish tagine, deserts and a great wine. Maryam and Jalil are marvellous hosts. They were always there for any of our requests, how to get to beach, transport to/from Marrakesh, transport to/from Medina, printing our boarding passes, restaurant recommendations, they really went above and beyond our expectations. The pool was always clean and warm, mainly to those windy days, it was very comfortable and great to chill in a warm pool, after a long day at the Medina. We strongly recommend staying with the Tamayourt.

Me and my son had a great time. The warm Welcoming , service and care was amazing even though it was the weekend of Eid. My son really enjoyed the heated swimming in the still chilly season. We also had dinner and it was great. From breakfast till the end everything home made. I will definitely come again . Thank you Marian

Beautiful pool area and the room by the pool was lovely. Excellent staff, great breakfast and flexible if you want to eat in the evening. Delicious food and wine. Great location close to essaouira with sea views.

The road there is a little tricky but other than that everything about it is perfect!!

The staff were amazing, the food for dinner was incredible too! The view and sunset is great and it’s only 10 mins to the town.

There was nothing that we did not like.

We liked the fact the property was off the beaten track and an oasis of peace, calm and tranquility. The owners were very warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help make our stay comfortable and memorable.

hands down one of the best places I've stayed at in Morocco. From the second I walked in, I felt welcomed like family. The whole vibe of the place is peaceful and authentic. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and tastefully decorated, you can tell they put thought into every little detail. The food? Insane! Every meal felt like a true Moroccan experience. Huge shoutout to Maryem and Quentin, who are honestly the heart of this place. They’re so warm, attentive, and make you feel like you're at home. Honestly, it’s a 10/10, and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

It was great, but not worth the price. Can find a 4 star hotel at this price with free breakfasts. This is why Moroccans don't stay here, only tourists (figured out my mistake). Breakfast and fees alone amounted to $40 supplemental to the room.

Very little to complain about! Not the property’s fault but just bear in mind Essaouira being on the coast can be a bit windy so just prepare for that.

We could not have had a better stay! The Tamayourt is a secluded Riad about 10 minutes drive from Essaouira. Everything about this place is perfect. Quiet, incredible, friendly and attentive staff, especially the owner Maryam who is a ray of sunshine, exceedingly helpful and an amazing chef. The days we ate here all day were the best food we had on our whole trip. The garden and art pieces are stunning, and the heated pool has been the best swims we’ve had. As hard workers, we wanted a total relaxation of a holiday and Tamayourt provided that and more.

The dinner was a little more expensive by Moroccan standards & you need a car because it’s a little bit outside (but totally worth it!!)

This place is soooo lovely - every detail is perfect. The owners are so nice and it feels like home. It’s very special because there are just 7 rooms.
