Our recent stay was quite disappointing. The kitchen was noticeably dirty upon arrival, and the utensils provided were not clean. The dishwashing liquid and scrub looked incredibly old and unhygienic, as if they hadn't been replaced in many months. The bathroom also lacked cleanliness, and there was no hand soap provided. Furthermore, the bedding had an unpleasant smell, and despite the cold night, the heating system was in poor condition, making for an uncomfortable sleep. Not at all recommended.

The property is very close to Žabljak and all the activities in the surrounding area.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. Every day they spoiled us with delicious, homemade products. The little house is charming, beautifully decorated and truly feels like living in a fairy tale.

The accommodation is into the spirit of the place. a nice cottage, with some of the things you would need (cutlery), the bed really big and comfy, upstairs. A really nice natural experience for the kid 😊

Beds are very uncomfortable, there is no city water, we were out of electricity at some point (water also stops when the electricity is out). There was barely any toilet paper in the bathroom. Hosts were not specially hospitable. We were charged 12€ per person for a very scarce dinner.

No hot water at all !!! We were unpleasantly surprised when they asked us to pay more at checkout beacuse of a dog and there is two of us, even though we clearly said from the start that there were two of us and we brought a dog. Their listing said dogs are welcome with no extra charge and price is same for one or two person. Then they asked us to report on Booking that we didn’t show up, which felt very dishonest. Day before they didnt respond to our messages on whatsapp or phone messages. Scammers !!!

- mismanagement of the host, lacks understanding of gastronomy - dinner turned out more expensive than we were told - host didn't keep track of the orders we made, had to argue with him at the end - kitchen and bathroom super basic, not well maintained, disappointing - seemed like the host family was too busy with their own kids and lacked attention towards the guests - food was served even though we hadn't sat down, food turned cold.

The location was difficult to find if you don't get the correct route on google maps and it was more like a farm field than a relaxing spot to enjoy. The price for 2 people was high and not value for money.

The host was helpful when we got lost trying to find the property and had a fire ready for us on arrival which was nice as it was rainy & cold.

Cottage Uskoci is a quite place not far away from the center of Zabljak which ensure cosy house, tasty oganic food and beautiful view. It is located well to get to the hiking trails. Thanks Marko for everything and see you next time.
