Comfortable new home with all amenities. Full kitchen, bathroom and three bedrooms, spacious living room. Heating. Barbecue area. Pet friendly. The host was in touch and friendly.

The only minor issues we encountered were the lack of curtains, though Jelena mentioned that plans to install some are in progress. Additionally, being a wooden cabin, every step along the staircase or on the second floor can be heard throughout the house. However, these were small inconveniences in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Durmitor Sunset is a "bonding cabin". Come here if you seek an escape from civilization and bonding with your loved ones. It's on the outskirts of Žabljak (as if tiny Žabljak could be considered a bustling downtown) nestled right next to natural wonders. And yet the gem of this place is its hosts. It's funny, We never had the chance to meet Jelena in person, but she easily earns the "best host" title ever. She and her father, Slavko, and her grandparents (sorry for not remembering their names) cared of us as if we were family. Jelena was always reachable on WhatsApp, making it seem as if she was right there with us. Her family, living across the road, promptly attended to our needs and spoiled us with thoughtful gestures like fresh vegetables from their garden and homemade sweets during our stay. This was a time of war in our homeland, and the conversations with Slavko and Jelena provided us with much-needed support and comfort. We are truly grateful to them all! The next remarkable features of this place are the breathtaking views, the profound tranquility, and the clean, pure air. If you're seeking a peaceful getaway, this is the ideal destination. Additionally, Durmitor park, the Devil's Lake, and several other attractions are just a short drive away, making the cabin the perfect home base for daily adventures in this paradise. Picture waking up in the morning to find a herd of horses casually roaming around the property—it was a unique and delightful experience. Feeding them provided a lot of entertainment for the kids. As for the cabin itself, it's a cozy wooden retreat equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials—truly, everything you might require. The bathroom, while a bit compact, is still quite comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and the smart TV allowed us to install news apps from home to stay updated on the situation.

We were simply amazed by the stunning beauty of this place! The owner of the house was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The house itself was fully equipped with everything you needed: from dishes and cutlery to bed linen and towels. One of the highlights of our stay was the use of the portable grill, which allowed us to cook delicious meats. A truly unforgettable experience!

A soundproofing isn’t very good, but it didn't cause any inconvenience. This is more of a note for those who are light sleepers.

We were very impressed by the beauty of this place! We really liked the owner of the house, she was friendly, sociable. The house had everything: dishes, cutlery, linens, supplies, towels, even “women’s” accessories. In the house there was a portable grill on which we cooked very tasty meat. At night, a fox came to the house and we watched it from the panoramic window. It was unforgettable!

Stunning newly built chalet with beautiful Mountain View. Extremely attentive owners who ensured we had everything we could need. We ate homemade dinner and breakfast and were treated to home grown raspberries and raspberry pie. Highly recommend this property.

Host requires cash as form of payment but did not notify us that this was the case. As we were departing we were approached by someone working for the host stating that we had to pay in cash which we didn’t have enough of at the time. The host called and criticized us for not knowing the policy. The host stated that because the accommodation was so nice, that she shouldn’t have to deal with this problem and that everyone knows the policy. My friend and I reviewed the accommodation description and policies and nowhere did it mention that cash has to be paid. I spent an hour out of my day driving to town, going to multiple ATMs to find enough cash for the payment. Nowhere does it state in the building nor did the employee that greeted us mention anything about payment. Host stated that she doesn’t mention payment to guests because she wants the stay to be positive. All the rooms were a bit noisy due to lack of insulation from wind.

Nice, clean, and comfy furniture. The accommodation is away from high traffic roads.
