How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Toilets and a small shower are on the ground floor, Narrow bedrooms are on the first floor. Dangerous stairs to use. No airconditioning. On hot days the house is very warm.

We had to wait for the boyler to hit the water in the shower each one, all electricity fail - Tv and the fireplace stoped . when we called them , they tald us that someone can fix it only tommorow. The place is not so clean. outside look very nice but inside very disappinting.

The staff didn't speak English, which made communication quite difficult. The bedrooms are on the second floor while the bathroom is on the first, and the stairs is very narrow. There is no air condition and the windows don't have screens, so insects came in We also received an apartment with no vie.
Nowhere does it say that the toilet is upstairs. As in any average house in Zabljak, the toilet is on the first floor next to the living room. We also had staff who are always there for guests and who speak English, if you needed anything, you could write via booking or to the phone numbers that were left during the reservation. Second night, in the middle of the night all of the warmer stops work, at 7am it was very cold (with two toddlers 2&4 yrs). It takes some time till resolved problems The stuff does not speak english and its very hard to communicate.

Verified reviewGreat location, right on the main highway. Comfortable rental, cozy beds, and very warm in the cold weather. The hosts were nice but didn't speak any English. We managed just fine with translating on our phones.
No outdoor space for kids to play. Our kids were running around and they were very quickly told to stay off the grass and not run by the staff there. The stairs going up to the second floor were very narrow (maybe 7 inches) and I would not recommend for anyone that isn't very nimble.

We stayed a full week, while cottage is nice and comfortable, it’s missing a bit attention to detail. A small lamp next to the bed would be great. The sponge for cleaning the dishes could be fresh and it would be nice to receive new toilet paper and garbage bags without needing to ask for it.

Everything was spotless, houses were very easy to find (on the main road), super close (a few minutes by car) to Zabljak city center and the Black Lake. Checking in was very easy, we were welcomed by super friendly, kind and professional staff.
