The staff is incredible

Beautifully relaxing! Super quiet. Lovely to be on the sand within 4 seconds of getting out of bed, and in the ocean within 10 seconds. Accommodation was clean, new looking, bright and airy. Staff Monda, Sujon and another quiet fellow were all lovely! Provided Maldivian breakfast was fresh and yummy. Plenty of nice cafes and restaurants around the island for lunch and dinner. Really well stocked mini supermarket 1 minute walk away - prices were reasonable. Many 'bikini' beach's to choose from - all as stunning as the last. 5 or 6 days here would be perfect with a few off island excursions (we loved the dolphin cruise and snorkeling at Turtle Island). Take cash - only one ATM on the island with very high bank fees.

There was nothing to dislike. :) Keep in mind this is a local island and home to many culturally conservative people so take clothes to cover your swimmers if you are not on the beach.

The room was very nice, the breakfast great and we did some snorkeling tours, also really great. It was for us a perfect few days in a great hotel, nice and quiet. The sunset is beautifull at the hotel beach! Small tip: after 20:00 you can see the stingrays and small sharks on the north side of the island. And the southwest beach is really quiet

The hotel is perfect, keep in mind that there is no alcohol on the island because its a local island. We found it quiet nice, not to much tourist The trash on the island is a downside, the whole island needs to clean it a bit better.

We loved our stay at Veli Vilaa - the location is absolutely stunning and we felt so welcome. All of the double bedrooms have gorgeous views and easy access to the private beach at the back of the guesthouse, where you can swim or just enjoy the views. The friendly staff were always on hand to organise excursions or help you out, and we really felt like it was a home from home during our stay. It's the sort of place you go back to again and again, and we were so happy we opted to stay here rather than one of the bigger hotels on the island. Being a smaller guesthouse there obviously isn't evening entertainment or a big restaurant, but you can go to any of the other hotels if that's what you want - and they do have a small but delicious menu for room service if you want to eat in.

The breakfasts, while delicious, did get a bit repetitive after a while. There is also a lot more seaweed on the private beach compared to the rest of the island - it didn't bother us at all, but felt worthy of mention.

We spending 11 nights in the beach villa room. The room was very comfortable and clean, perfect for us. The best was the private beach area opposite the rooms with white sands of course. We have never been met this kind of staff members all over the world, whom worked there. it was a very good impression to us. That reason why we are thinking about go back there again. Mundy is a best hospitality and all crew member were really friendly and respectfull with my family until the whole time.. They fulfill our all wishes. We would like to thank you again separatly the attitude and work of Sujan and Abdullah as well. Whom could gain smile and laugh over and over again to our little daugther's face. Of course if was need they play with our daugther or joked with her or help any kind of problem or question. We could ask anything there were not impossible for them. That was amazing and unbeliveable holiday and forever will be a good memory for us,

Our experience at Veli Vilaa, nestled on the enchanting island of Dhiffushi, was simply unforgettable and utterly breathtaking. The villa's direct beachfront location works its magic the moment you arrive, instantly melting away every trace of the journey. All that remains is you, the mesmerizing ocean, and a delightful flurry of hermit crabs and other crabs in every imaginable shape, size, and vibrant color, scuttling playfully across the powdery white sand. The villa itself is thoughtfully designed with four bedrooms, each boasting a private bathroom and separate entrance. Two rooms are situated on the ground floor, featuring expansive glass doors that open directly onto the beach, comfort reigns supreme within the villa. The spaces are clean, invitingly comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious and equipped with showers. Out on the beach, you'll discover swings, hammocks, cozy daybeds, and everything you could possibly desire to while away the hours in blissful idleness, gently lulled by the soothing melody of the sea until the spectacular sunset paints the sky. However, what truly elevates a stay at Veli Vilaa to something extraordinary are the people. Sujon, the head of staff, and Monda, the villa manager, were absolutely fantastic. They were consistently available, always smiling, and remarkably attentive to our every need. We also must mention the incredible Shimul, the chef, who delighted us every morning with tasty fresh fruit juices and was always ready to prepare delicious meals at any time we requested. We really enjoyed our stay in Veli Vilaa, such a beautiful peaceful and lovely hotel. Our room is literally beach front. The beach is really clean, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Every request we have asked them for, they have always helped us. Monda is a great manager, always respond to my queries and so helpful. So does Saif and other staff, they are all so friendly. One day my husband wanted to have Redbull, Saif offered to get him, he is so kind and friendly. We had the best time and memory in beautiful Maldives as a family of 3.

The villa was located in a nice area with its own beach which was good, the staff were excellent, especially Saif.

Unfortunately some of the locals didn't respect their island's cleanliness and throw food waste and rubbish into the sea. Also it doesn't have its own house reef so snorkelling is not very good.

I booked this guest house for my father and his friends. Honestly, I was not there myself, but according to my father's feedback, the apartment was very clean, and the staff was friendly. They enjoyed their time at Veli Vilaa. The beach is about 20-30 meters from the building, making it feel like a private beach area. However, please note that there are no twin beds in the sea-view villa apartment, only double beds. I highly recommend staying at Ahmed's facility and enjoying your time in the Maldives, especially on Dhiffushi Island. Thank you for being so supportive, Ahmed and his staff!
