It was a little difficult to find as I lost cell reception driving there and there is nothing close walking distance.

The place is quiet and very accommodating, Claudia really cares that the stay is good and that everything works well! The pool and the sound of parrots in the morning is great, and the distance from the center make it magical.

Best value for price I ever experienced!! The room is very comfortable and has a nice terrace with a seating area in front of the pool. The room has a fridge and water cooker. Self-check-in and instructions were clearly communicated. We booked the room spontaneously the morning before our arrival. We paid 35 € for the night. It was amazing!!!!

It would have been really challenging to stay here without a car. The instructions we got from Claudia allowed us to avoid the most troublesome roads but we were glad we had an SUV. I wouldn’t be put off by the location at all!

The property was beautiful! A real oasis! We loved the pool area and landscaping, and the facilities in the studio with private terrace were just what we needed. Cleaning staff were so attentive and topped up our fresh coffee and drinking water as needed. Would recommend to anyone. Walkable to loads of restaurants and nice quiet location.

The only thing that could be better and likely will be in the future when all the area construction is complete, are the roads. Trece Lunas's owners have no control over the public roads but they do maintain the area near the hotel. PLEASE FOLLOW Claudia's directions for reaching the hotel by car from the airport. C. 2 Sur (which Google maps seems to love, is TERRIBLE)

Our first decision was to go to Tulum since we were looking for an experience that included history and nature. Tulum offers both. We then looked for a place to stay that was not a chain hotel or an opulent/sterile transplant of life “back home” on a beach. When we found Trece Lunas it looked like just what we wanted. And it was. We booked the Suite with balcony, though technically, since it is on the ground floor, it is a suite with a patio. The rooms surround a beautifully landscaped and lush courtyard in the center of which is a pool. There are chaises for summing and outside each room is a shaded area with chairs and a small table. There are several rooms upstairs as well but we did not observe them. Comfort: 5 stars: At the beginning and end of each day we sat comfortably on our patio gazing at the pool, under a fan and listening to the water flow from the small sitting pool into the larger one. In fact, we had two places to sit, as outside the bedroom there are also 2 chairs. The apartment is well appointed with a nice sized refrigerator, basic tools for meal prep and eating in, a table that seats 4 (but plates and utensils for 2) and a divan. There are two bathrooms, one on either side of the suite, one ensuite. Both have good showers but one should know that in the afternoon if other guests are also using theirs the hot water may disappear. Shampoo and soap for the shower are provided. The bed is medium-firm and very comfortable. We both slept well each night with the overhead fan on low. Light blocking curtains in both the living and sleeping areas give privacy and a nice dark room. If you don’t rent a room with a kitchenette there is an outside kitchen with a stove and oven and space for creating full meals. Air conditioning is available but we found it best to use for a few hours on 24-25º to dry things out on humid days. It's a nice oasis, perfect to relax after a day in the area. We got a room bigger than the one we booked, fully equipped and quiet. The bedding had many stains when we arrived, gladly the staff quickly fixed it the following day. The surrounding area is quite bad, with horrible dirt roads and a lot of trash, it's unbelievable to be unable to build roads in such a touristic area.

The toilet didnt flush properly but they got it fixed whilst we were there. The location is little out of town so can be hard to get to if you dont have a car. Even if you do have a car the roads are so bad from the rain. But this seems pretty normal for Tulum.

The hotel is a beautiful escape in the jungle, and my room was amazing. I was worried after reading some of the comments about the roads, but when I got there it was all good. I was told that the rain had affected them but they've been fixed. the pool and relaxing area

Nothing really but to those who express discontent with conditions of the roads during rainy season. One cannot expect a 2-lane highway if deciding to stay in what is essentially jungle terrain. Roads are bad many places in Tulum. I suggest getting a scooter to navigate the puddles. It’s perfectly fine and doable.

Amazingly beautiful, lush and serene hotel in quiet area with great, clean pool and large rooms with many amenities. Owner was always available as well as extremely helpful and hospitable and staff were kind and helpful. I stayed here for a week and enjoyed being located away from the noise and intensity of Tulum. It’s a 10 minute walk thru quiet streets to La Veleta with its many bars and restaurants.

Roads still aren't paved in that area so a little bit tricky to get in and out, but we were warned in advance. Still 100% worth the stay!

Rough access road (even the recommended route by the hosts), rather remote location. If you want something to eat, it's best to order via the local delivery service (Tomato.mx) which worked flawlessly.

Very nice, new and modern complex - basically a couple of apartments grouped around a swimming pool. Very green and exceptionally quiet. Spacious apartment, comfortable beds, fast and convenient self check-in, quick response times by the hosts.

The only advise is not to take a small car because of the roads during winter season.

Everything was amazing. The place is majestic, fully in the heart of the jungle. All the ambients were in perfect condition and the cleaning lady makes sure to clean every day the room. The host was helpful in everything, very patient and full of enthusiasm. I loved everything and hope to come back soon

Claudia was so helpful and gave instructions very well and literally went above and beyond with scooter rental to recommend a place to see and eat and was always quick to respond. she even gave me a free lift to the bus station after I left ... the accommodation is beautiful and clean and has a very chilled jungle vibe on a quiet street

The streets to get there are pretty bumpy and not the easiest to naviate. 5% credit card charge is a bit much.

Small complex with a few big rooms that have everything you need, apartment style. The setting is very quiet and well organised. The surrounding area feels quite newly developed. The owners are super nice and accomodating. The price is great for what you get!

Obviously not the hotels fault, but the road to get there was terrible after the rain - even following the directions given. Massive puddles and craters to go through. Just be warned to not have a low-lying car or you'll scrape the bottom. Also, it's a bit far out (which is also what I loved!!). I'd definitely stay there again, but wouldn't if I didn't have my own transport.

Stayed in the private room with the pool on the terrace. Great bed, pool, facilities, environment, nature. Loved it! Also very considerate of the staff to ask when we were coming back after a day out so they could do work on the property and not disturb our serenity with construction noises and a leaf blower.

Wow! What an oasis in the jungle, perfectly decorated and designed till the last detail. We had everything we need for our week stay in Tulum. Perfectly clean rooms, cleaned every day. Fresh water was refilled frequently in the apartment. Since it’s really hot in Tulum, you can find great refreshment in pool and ac equipped rooms. Thank you so much for everything, we will definitely be back!

I highly recommend this place to stay if you are ever in Tulum. The place is like a little hidden paradise. Absolutely stunning. Claudia is the most amazing host ever. So kind and goodheartet. She is full of advice and good recommendations for you. She helped us a lot during our stay and really made us feel like we are home.
