United KingdomSingle glazing was poor, the aircon was warm or cold and difficult to adjust, and for some reason bath towels were provided but no hand towels. The breakfast area was not a restaurant, so eating lunch and dinner out is essential.
The hotel location is excellent and an easy walk all along the waterfront and into town. The breakfast was reasonable, with hot and cold dishes, fruit, cereals etc. The room was pleasant and the sea view quite good on the 7th floor and up. The staff are good and the price was too.

Right next to Jalan Main Bazaar, opposite the Waterfront, with all the best bars, restaurants & complexes nearby, it could not be better situated and was a very comfortable stay.

MalaysiaBreakfast was very basic not really worth paying extra for. Good restaurants nearby, so it’s more affordable to book rooms without breakfast. Room a bit dusty. Autogate parking didn’t detect plat no correctly but no intercom provided to contact the staff. Had to tell receptionist to open it manually each time we want to go out. They’re helpful, tho, but just a bit inconvenient. Everything else is good.
Its location is the best thing about it. Affordable and quite decent too.

SingaporeWiFi was really bad: disclaimer on WiFi card warning about the poor Internet does not excuse the poor & inconsistent signal in the hotel rooms. My room was at the corner so it could've just been my luck too. Regardless, please consider installing some WiFi extenders along the corridors and perhaps in the guestrooms as well; the current WiFi setup is really the Achilles's heel for this hotel and simply unacceptable. Pros do outweigh the cons though, so just buy more mobile data if you're staying here.
Lift is fast, room is clean, water pressure is good. Luggage storage service is superb, with there being a compartmentalised area at the lobby with the bellboy in charge of safekeeping the guests' belongings, instead of the usual case where luggage is simply stacked in one corner and left out in the open. Wonderful location right beside the historical temple and within walking distance of the iconic waterfront. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the room, but I also had a good view of the Sarawak Legislative Building behind the waterfront right from my window.

United StatesI think this is a second review request for same hotel I just reviewed, which is probably because I had to make 3 separate booking at the same place since I wasn’t allowed to just a a day onto the beginning, and 2 days onto the end of my original booking. Don’t know if that was the hotel or Booking. I had the same type room for all 3 bookings, and fortunately didn’t have to move rooms.
