Mystic vibes is indeed a unique homestay in Kathmandu. Located in a quiet area of the city, it is only a few minutes by motorbike from the main attractions of the city. Besides the great facilities including a gym and a mandala room for relaxing and sharing some insightful conversations, the room is spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom is big and has hot water. I arrived with a bit of a cold from my journey and my stay in Mystic Vibes helped me to recover. Sunit, the host, is a very kind man. He checked up on me and made me feel welcome. His place is a unique combination that nourrishes the body and the soul. Besides, it is located above Art Brew Coffee, a café that is also a space to develop creativity through painting. The beds are pretty hard, could use a thicker mattress or maybe just two of the hard ones stacked up lol. But "this is Sparta!!!", yes? Still beats choking on motorbike exhaust in the city center.

The owner is someone you must meet if you stay in Kathmandu, really a super friendly and knowledgeable and fun guy. This hostel is awesome if you are into fitness - gym with everything you could ever need right downstairs, and the trainer is there every morning, he is competing with the owner to be the most kickass guy you will meet in KTM. Super good vibes from these guys, and it's a nice neighborhood as well, up the hill away from the smog and hustlers in Thamel. Truly a unique little sanctuary, count yourself lucky to connect with this crew.

Nothing really. The neighbourhood was nice and the other residents had a friendly vibe.

The dorm was basically a twin room. I had a proper bed and only shared with one person at a time. The gym was freeto use with good equipment.

All good. If you are after a hotel stay, this is not it. It is a unique experience with fitness and fun.

For the right people this is an amazing place to stay. Sunit, the host, really takes care to make you feel welcome and it has been wonderful to have access to the gym also. The location is great as quiet and local.

If you are traveling not alone, or you need to work online it could be a little noisy there. And if you need to stay in Thamel, it quite far away, over 2 km, but it was ok for me.

Amazing place and experience i had there. People are realy friendly. And the most exciting thing is the gym and conversation with people who living and coming for training there. Location is also good for me, its over 2 km far from Thamel.

Limited rooms with no long time stay because the room are usually booked.had to shift Twice due to unavailability. The bed was Comfortable nt a queen size but can fit two person easily.For me single person it was great Forgot to turn on mosquito liquid first night so Got bitten by Few mosquitos in first night 😉 Freeze in the kitchen was not working..maybe he will repair it soon.

I was very spectacle about the place in beginning but when I arrive my surprise got a perfect place home away from home . The Owner/manager of the Commune is Sanit a free minded soul.He is one of the The first Nepali backpacker who has travelled to more than 80 countries (very experienced Traveller )and of course almost everywhere in nepal .its his own property where he is running fitness studio from past 12 years.He has Added a BNb in Homestay style from past 1 year. Locality-Its Around 3km far from thamel(city centre).it's a posh Residential Area in Kathmandu known as baluwtar where Prime Minister of Nepal Residence is there ..The locality also have Nepalse central bank headquater,Russian Embassy,Chinese Embassy and Ingos with many Vip foreigner and local people staying in the area ...Very safe and peaceful residential area..Lots of multi cuisine restaurants and local food points . Fitness Gym -Its a Fully equipped Gym weights and machines with cardio machines treadmill rowing machine,airbike,Elleptical and also classes for meditation,Yoga,Zumba l,Zizitsu etc.There are professional trainers available morning and evening to help u ...Ritesh The head trainer With experience of more than 25 yrs was from Himanchal India was great and knowlegeable trainer.The other trainers wore also excellent .Many locals community people also comes for training in morning and evening ..so it's fun to meet different new people's ...The garden terrace in rooftop was great .coffee breaks with other members and talk sessions was nice during my stay ..Also found many Intellectua ,spiritual good vibes open minded peoples here.Music was blast Also They like Electronic Music Techno and hardcore Psytrance commumity..I Found out many people who has connection in Underground Music Scene in nepal ..They know where the best party happens in nepal Rooms and Dorms -He has made few rooms and dorm in property.Its basic clean 2 private rooms and 2 dorm beds .

Very cool place with relax atmosphere. Can cook, can work out, and meet new friends. And is value for the money. Location is in residential area near city center, quiet, easily access by pathao.

Very nice little community of people doing fitness together and enjoying each others company, where you also get some very low price accomodations. The owner is a really good guy and the people around are all very good people as well. Being in a rural area makes the nighttime very quiet and undisturbed. Many good things about this place that make it special. Love this place and the people
