Had maintenance for the water, but this isn’t exactly a negative.

Freshly renovated, smells nice and clean, only 4 rooms here, creates a very lovely and intimate atmosphere.

Breakfast was good, but light (cereal or toast and fruit). Would have been nice to have both or something a bit more substantial.

Very comfortable bed, well equipped room and fantastic views. The owners were very friendly and made us a really lovely breakfast. We felt very much at home and as though they really cared.

The property was lovely, clean, comfy and the room was warm. Situated at the top of the hill the scenery was stunning and the venue was quiet. Gail and Kim are lovely.

A Truly Stunning Stay! We had an absolutely wonderful experience during our recent stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind — always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, beautifully organized, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail felt thoughtful and well-maintained, which made the stay even more relaxing. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into running this place, and it really shows. highly recommended!

Couldn't fail it!

We had a fantastic stay at the Coromandel Seaview Motel. The location is great—just a short drive to town, yet peaceful and quiet. The views are absolutely stunning, and our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

There was nothing we didn't like

Loved our stay here. Our hosts were amazing, full of knowledge about Coromandel, where to eat, what to do etc and we especially liked our 4 legged hosts, so cute and such well behaved dogs! The included continental breakfast was just right too, with great choices. Amazing views and even our own BBQ on our private balcony. Will certainly stay here again when we return to Coromandel.

Would have liked a small dining suit instead of a bar with stools because we couldn't sit outside because of the cyclone but that is being picky.

The property had a superb view and it was impeccably clean.

We couldn’t fault it.

We liked the views, we found it very comfortable as due to the weather we couldn’t explore much on the first day. We were located a few kms out of town near Long Bay beach. Nice breakfast with great locally brewed coffee. Very helpful hosts.

Not much, I only got lost once heading back at night.

It was lovely that breakfast was provided and the hosts seemed to genuinely care if you enjoyed your stay. They were able to give me a free upgrade of my room and provide recommendations on things to do and where to eat in town. The room was clean and the hot shower was divine.

Greeted by Gail and Kim, they made us feel right at home. Our room has a fine view, ask for the deluxe suite, and the kitchenette is equipped with what you need. Also, it is very quiet and peaceful. We walked to a couple of good hikes, took a day trip out to the Whitianga area, and relaxed!

The location was a bit out of town but worth it, it was quiet, fabulous views, a couple of good places to walk just a little down the road. The room was beautiful, luxurious and had all we needed

Made to feel at home by the very pleasant owners but best of all were the balcony and views of both bays and the mountains behind.

We hit the jackpot with this property! It has a killer view, beach location, and the rooms are spacious and have equipped kitchens. We stayed for three nights, but would have loved to be there longer.
