Mike & Jenny's place was such a great find, a massive studio with all the amenities you could need and a lovely garden to sit in overlooking that incredible ocean view! The accommodation is easy to find, well located, just above the only restaurant in town and 1 minute from the beach. I didn't meet Mike, but Jenny was very helpful and sweet! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed to cook and the shower was hot with good pressure. All in all a lovely stay.

Being built in to the ground there is a slight musty smell, but that’s probably not an issue for most.

5mins walk to the beach. Literally upstairs from the restaurant. Very spacious and clean room. Jenny and Mike are very friendly and lovely hosts. We highly recommend to stay here. 10mins drive to Nugget Point. Love the swing looking out to the beach. We had a great time. Thank you.

A fantastic little location right next to the beach, Mike & Jenny's is such great value for money. We had a fantastic time in Kaka Point, the room itself has everything you'd need. Would definitely stay again!

Overall all good. Possibly the owners could check the bathroom plumbing because on an occasion some musty smell could be detected. Nothing persistent. Good that with the door to the bathroom closed and a small opening window in the toilet, it didn't spread.

Very spacious quiet accommodation on a residential street with a fabulous view to the ocean, beach, and rocks. Separate entrance to the suite. Warm welcome from the hosts. Very close to Kaka's restaurants, shops, down an alleyway. Start of walking trails withing walking distance. Thanks for a lovely stay

It was super chilly outside so we were stoked to be so cosy inside.

You can get a bit of noise from upstairs, which is normal in NZ houses. Please note the owner lives upstairs.

Slight walk to the front of the property then few steps down to front door. Not an issue really a problem. Hosts get up very early in the morning to go to work. They are generally very quiet but still hear them if niot deep asleep. Otherwise they are really quiet and amazing to be hosted by.

Awesone place to stay, hosts are lovely and genuine kiwi people. Big room, very clean. Comfy and warm queen size bed. Great kitchen facilities including induction cooktop, microwave, electric frying pan, rice cooker, toastie machine and coffee pod machine. Good size fridge with freezer.. Great view of the ocean. Blackout curtains keeps room really dark. Great water pressure in the shower. Off street parking. Private steps down to the beach/ main road/ cafe. Big TV screen.
