Gorgeous place and lovely host. The rooms are spacious, clean and stunning! Great breakfast and got amazing tips from the lady of the house! Had a great stay and would love to come back!

We were warmly greeted by Jacqui as she welcomed us into her home. She showed us our beautiful bedroom and ensuite. There was fresh flowers on the bedside tables. Extra blankets to snuggle under. Top range toiletries in the shower. Great shower and plenty of hot water. We were shown to a beautiful lounge where we were able to relax with a wine or coffee. It was very comfortable just like home. She gave lots of information about what we could do and see in Oameru as well as different restaurants. Breakfast was fabulous and very generous. We would absolutely recommend the Vicarage for a wonderful stay.. Jacqui was the perfect host.

Really excellent accomodation , beautiful building and we stayed in a downstairs room that was really big and beautifully decorated. Had access to lounge to relax and have a cuppa. Host Jacqui was exceptional, so welcoming and told us where to visit in Oamaru. It was so homely and couldn't recommend this place enough.

The Vicarage is a perfect spot to stay in Oamaru. The room & bed was super comfortable and the common area is warm & inviting. The breakfast is perfect. Jacqui has fabulous ideas and ready to give you directions or places to spot little blue penguins on your way back from dinner (and absolute highlight!)

We loved the location so close to downtown Oamaru. The room was neat and spacious. The decor of the house had huge attention to detail. Jackie’s knowledge of where to go and where to eat was excellent. A warm and cosy stay.

The Vicarage Boutique Bed and Breakfast Oamaru is an absolute GEM! We loved the house, it was a lovingly restored villa and very comfortable. The host made us feel very special and she was kind, considerate and was very helpful especially recommending places to go. Breakfast was a lovely quaint affair, and the croissants perfect! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting somewhere special to stay in Oamaru!

Did not realise there were stairs, quite steep. Did not matter too much but with heavy suitcase or mobility issues could be a problem.

Vicarage had great history and character. Beautiful room upstairs with lovely outlook onto the garden. Jackie was very friendly, welcoming and informative. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommend.

the sink in the bathroom was too tiny although the water pressure in the shower was excellent

The Victorian building of The Vicarage fit in perfectly with the vibe in this beautiful old town. The location was convenient to the historic center, the botanical garden and also the bus stop although the owner graciously picked us up because it was raining.
