Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandWifi does not work, the blinds need to facing upwards for further privacy otherwise people can see you from outside the apartment so needs to be replaced with curtains or a roller blind for privacy and less light leakage into the room.
15-20 minute walk to town in Queenstown, dedicated parking spot under the apartment and safe, smart tv with provided Netflix, washing machine/dryer.

BelgiumNo human presence, other customers passing right in front of our window. A bit faraway from centre but well located to access airfield.
Nicely arranged and comfy. Washing machine and dryer were a big plus.

United KingdomAll contact with staff via Internet, although the check-in system very slick and they respond quickly to any query. I would have felt safer with a chain or bolt on the door. It would have been nice to have had an easy chair. At circa £150 a night, it was the most expensive place I stayed in New Zealand. In Wellington, I was able to rent a one-bedroom flat, with a separate sitting room in the City centre for £90. But Queenstown on the whole was an expensive place. The hot tub setup is not inviting.
Very comfortable, well-decorated and very clean room.. Adjoining bathroom had heated floor and night light. Good quality toiletries. TV had Netflix. Tiny kitchenette in the corner with kettle, microwave, and fridge. It is good to prepare breakfast but it is not possible to cook a meal. A few snacks kindly left, along with fresh coffee, etc and soap powder for washing machine (in the hallway with dryer). Good location, on main road to airport and with bus stop two minutes away. A 20-minute easy walk into town centre. More difficult back as up hill!

AustraliaOverall pretty good has a nice bathroom the only downsides were the curtains couldn’t be shut all the way and the duvet was quite old and stained. The wifi connection was really poor and when I enquired about it they told me to call IT myself which I don’t want to be doing on my holiday

AustraliaUnfortunately the tv and internet did not work, so we called thru to Geri at BCR Property Management, and she tried to get us help. An internet technician called us late at night, but we still couldn't get it to work, which was so frustrating. However the next day, Geri managed to find us another apartment that was nicer and had all working facilities, so that was our saving grace.
The location was good and had parking. The room was fine, but very small with very basic furniture. It was similar to student accommodation, but with a nicer bathroom. Unfortunately the tv and internet did not work, and we really could not make it work. But the next day, Geri at BCR Property Management, very kindly moved us to another apartment that was larger and had a working tv and internet. Thank you Geri.

AustraliaVertican Blinds didn't completely block out of a night but found if you tilt blinds upwards more effective.
Modern and quiet unit 314B as at start of units. Great detailed instructions for check in and check out. Room very warm bit able to cool with air-conditioning or open window but make sure you close on dusk as linsects drawn to indoor light.

AustraliaWe stayed several days in there, the WiFi didn’t work throughout the stay. Not sure if the room is located on the end the complex or just too many people sharing the building’s central wifi. We text management team multiple times asking them to fix, talked to few different guys but they alway replied as robots with standard instructions. After 2days we were very disappointed and given up eventually.
Great location, new facilities.

MalaysiaThe room was a bit small, and the bedsheet had a noticeable stain, which was a little disappointing. The WiFi was quite unstable, making it difficult to stay connected. Overall, the stay was okay, but I don’t think it was really worth the price.
The bathroom was relatively clean.

United KingdomThere is no wifi. We depended on wifi to book activities and speak with family. When we told the staff they were very unhelpful. They want to do the bare minimum and charge very high rates. The shower randomly goes very hot to the point that it burns you. I would’t stay here again and i wouldn’t recommend it. You can get better for the money they charge.
The location was good. A 15 minute walk to town.
