I had a little trouble navigating to get there the first time I stayed. However, I have been back since and now no longer have any trouble with the navigation.

The staff are absolutely incredible and go above and beyond to make you feel at home during your stay. After just one visit, the owners of Residence Coya became my friends. Also, the breakfast is made with organic and wholesome ingredients and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I had a great stay and would go back again!

We used this place as a stopover on our way to other parts of Panama. It was only a 10 minute walk to both the centre of David and the bus station. Puri and Jose went out of their way to make us feel welcome! Their place is definitely the cleanest place we've ever stayed at. The included breakfast was very fresh and healthy.

The room was small, dark and dated. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but wasn’t horrible. The area wasn’t safe to walk at night, but I’m not sure if all of David is like that. Same with the dogs barking at night.

We really liked Pura and Jose. They were so friendly and helpful. Jose made an amazing and very plentiful cold breakfast. They had nice touches in the room, like a full size bar of soap, liquid soap, bathmat, big closet. Good hot water. Nice rocking chairs outside the room on the terrace.

Incredibly lovely owners which make you feel very comfortable Cosy bedroom with excellent bathroom. Hot water in the shower etc. Cleanliness is impeccable Very close to the bus station to/from Panama, Boquete etc. Breakfast is really nice, all natural products. Highly recommend

Oustanding hospitality! The owner even got up at 4.30 a.m. to make us an incredible rich breakfast before catching the bus. Rooms are very clean and well equiped. Strongly recommended!!

David is the capital of the region and if you like to you can visit different places from here whereas David itself is not so interesting from the point of a tourist.

Kind owners! Very flexible on check-in/-out as they are also living in the house. The property is secured by fence and camera system. All rooms have fan, ac and tv. Wifi works well. Breakfast ist really nice!!! Thanks to the owner to all information, recommendations and your kindness!

Everything was perfect

Perfect stay that exceeded all of our expectations. The most lovely, kind, helpful owners - best hosts we've ever had the pleasure to meet! They will help you with whatever you might need and will gladly share all their insights and great advice on what to do in the region. The hotel and room is clean beyond PERFECTION, super comfortable, calm, quiet and very safe. Also they served the most exceptional home made breakfast. Best place in the region without a doubt and highly recommended!!

I loved everything about my stay.

The owners are warm, welcoming and live to serve their guests. Location was perfect for day travel to other towns as the bus terminal is a quick 7 minute walk. You also could not beat the freshly served breakfast and coffee that was served every morning.

The hosts were some of the kindest most lovely people I’ve ever met. They went out of their way to help me with some things. The whole place was absolutely spotless. The towels smelt amazing! Walking distance to the bus terminal. Safe. Easy walk into town.

Location was super close to the bus terminal…we could walk. Really great accommodation. Nice room, great outdoor space in a secure environment. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic. We felt valued and safe. Would stay here again So clean!

The owners are really nice people. We had a good time there even if it was just for a night. The room was really clean, the breakfast delicious. We had an early check-in, which was great. Location is a few minutes from bus terminal, city center and supermarket.

I suppose some of my expectations were higher (not the fault of the hosts, but rather based on my past experiences in hotels), regarding the lack of space in the bathroom and bedroom, and the comfort of the bed. I would suggest any tall or large person(s) stay elsewhere in David, but anyone of average height and weight will still find this a very cozy stay. I don't want to complain much, because the residence is quality and the very friendly hosts do deserve your business.

The hosts go out of their way to ensure visitors have a wonderful stay. They are extremely warm and welcoming, talkative enough while still respecting privacy, and especially generous to offer a nice, wholesome breakfast. Their story is amazing, too, having worked many years to build their offered spaces to what they are today, and they're rightly proud to serve the public at home. We felt comfortable and cared for throughout our stay, and truly appreciate the hosts' personas.

We loved everything - we had an amazing experience!

We stayed at the amazing place of the amazing couple - Jose and Forsa.❤️ When we arrived at the hotel they welcomed us with open arms, with a big smile and with natural squeezed orange juice 🍊that was delicious and wonderful! 😍 They hosted us with generosity, devotion, love, care, giving and a smile 😃 - we have never felt this way in a hotel and we travel a lot. My husband felt very unwell, they helped me take care of him and take care of him - it was very exciting, I felt that I was not alone and that they were there for anything we needed, they were available to us for everything, they made sure that my husband drank a lot of water, they brought him medicine, they were always interested For his safety and when they saw that there was no improvement in his condition, they managed to convince us to go to a hospital and thanks to them my husband received the treatment he needed to receive, we are grateful to them for the concern, care, listening ear and the sense of security they gave us, we felt that they were like our family, their hearts are huge!! ! The next morning they prepared a rich, tasty and healthy breakfast for us and made sure we ate and enjoyed it! The hotel is close to everything and within walking distance to a supermarket, bus station, restaurants, etc. The hotel and the room were pleasant to us and very clean (the room was shiny and they cleaned and changed the sheets every day), the air conditioner was great, we had an outstanding hospitality experience in this wonderful hotel and we highly recommend it and for sure we will come back to stay there again!!! The hosts are very patient, friendly and ready to help always and wholeheartedly!❤️💗♥️
