bamboo nest is really the best place you can stay in puerto princessa, it’s really a nest made of bamboo, super well maintained and very well decorated. There’s a lot of services proposed and the staff has been helping me with everything i needed during my stay and even more, such nice people. Thank you to the staff of bamboo nest, i had a really warm stay and i realky felt like home during my stay. thank you so much, i really really recommend

Everything was amazing!! It’s a remote location but there’s a few luxury’s like the Vietnamese restaurant “nickies” which is 10 minutes walk away! We ate there all the time! Greg the taxi driver was one of the highlights of our trip and went out of his way to make our stay even better! All the staff here are incredible! Including the friendly dogs and cats! We loved puerto princessa!

It was just a bit of an inconvenience having to ride the local transport into and out of the hotel as the roads were undeveloped. But that just added to the fun aspect of being out of the normal "hotel/resort" atmosphere.

I loved Bamboo Nest for its location. It was way off the noise and hustle of the crowded town. It was undeveloped roads that kept this place from being a 5 out of 5, but I can't complain. Compared to the town/city, the quiet nature was welcomed. The cool breeze, bamboo enclosure, the hidden location kept us wishing we could permanently move here. It is NOT for those that are accostumed to glamour and upscale. It's a sticks and bamboo home with 10 rooms and 7 bathrooms

Bamboo Nest was really beautiful! The common outside and inside areas were big, clean, and well-equipped. Showers and kitchen are also clean and easy accessable. The rooms were really cute and clean, exactly the bungalow feeling I was looking for. Our host, Jonathan, was very welcoming, helpful and compassionate. Would definitely visit again!

All staff were really lovely. Like living in a treehouse jungle for a night! Lots of animals around, all very friendly and part of the family. Go to their sister accommodation on the beach front for a relaxing chilled drink. Street food options near by were cheap and good.

I liked everything! Mostly the structure style and the vibe, but also the cleanness, everyone who works there, the beers at the beach front. Hands down the best hostel I’ve found in the Philippines.

John is super nice host. Our van got delayed , he kept waiting for us to arrive till midnight. He is accommodative and very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

It is a really charming hostel for those who want a rustic, jungle experience with the fun if staying in a bamboo treehouse! There’s lots of cats and dogs, all of which are friendly and the place is spotlessly clean. Jonathan was a brilliant host and helped me to book tours and transport. You can also use the bamboo nest at the beach to go and have some drinks. A very lovely experience, thank you for having me.

The location is far away from everything and hard to get to. There was so much noise from roosters and dogs all through the night.

Interesting building with lovely hangout areas. We had a nice dinner in the Sister hostel Room was clean and nice artwork. Convenient for 1 night before the airport.

Spacious rooms. Lots of hang out zones / hammocks. Kitchen has everything you need. Plus coffee. The entire place is well kept and extremely clean by staff who are also very polite, hopeful and friendly. Location is within the village. Which is a lovely experience. The local people are kind, friendly and helpful. We ate at restaurant next to bamboo nest. Clarissa/Owner is lovely and accommodated to our dietary choices. Jonathan.. what a superstar. He helped organise all of our tours and transport. Always close by if you need anything and returned all message within minutes. Thank you!! We also bonded with the animals they are apart of the house. They are lovely and playful, but also know how to keep distance.

Nice. We liked the authenticity, in general good location but we got mixed up on the roads in and out a lot. Clean and comfortable the fans in the room worked well. Liked the use of kitchen and lots of space to hang out. And the cats were cute and friendly but sometimes partied too late into the night ( with the roosters and dogs).
