It was such a relief to arrive here after a very long day of walking on the Camino. This place is located a little outside of town area which meant ending the long walk here. The facilities were simple but had everything I needed. I appreciate the friendliness of the staff.

Really wish that the breakfast would be open an hour earlier because pilgrims like to get out on the road early so to not have to walk in the intense sun later in the day.

Breakfast is too late for pilgrim (8:30 am) and bathrooms hets really crowded. Bring your earplugs as it can also gets noisy.

It is not a problem, but you should read it and expect it - shared bathrooms on the hall. Location - more to the city edge, 25 mins walk from the bus station.

Another unexpected accommodation on my way. New building, modern brutalist architecture, so a lot of concrete but with good facilities, great intimate rooms that sleep only 4 people, so it`s not crowded, 24 hours reception and a door key card. It has shared bathrooms on the hallway, which are very clean and private (if you test the showers you`ll understand). It is affordable and enough for pilgrims, lone travelers and anyone with decent standards. It is not central, more to the edge, but it is not a problem, considering Ponte de Lima is a small town, you can walk everywhere in 15 minutes. I recommend a visit, because the town is a MUST SEE!

Be aware that this is a place for youngsters and it gets loud early in the morning and stays quite at 1AM or so. Also we had some dried dead little bugs on ceiling

The cooking facilities could have been better with a stove, I was expecting hostel style cooking facilities.

It was all very good.

This youth hostel was a perfect stay. It's a bit off the centre but a very decent place to stay: clean, comfortable for a youth hostel. The rooms were very clean, towel and sheets and blankets provided. Lockers too. The bathrooms spacious and clean. It was a very last minute reservation, but i was happy to have a clean bed, hot showers and a very calmly situated room and big window in the room with 4 beds. The offered breakfast was a positive and generous surprise: coffee, thee, cheese, yogurt, muesli, pastries, bread and fresh fruits and great hosts.

Not enough power sockets for 4 bunk beds. Very noisy as walls are super thin. Bit further out of town than I had hoped for but not that bad. There is no actual ability to cook in kitchen - there are pans but no stove or hotplate. I wanted to cook a decent hot meal but was unable.

It was 80 degree when we got to the hotel. Three was no air circulation in the room (no a/c). Took a while for the room to cool off. The room is very noisy.

Nothing we were thogether on the Caminho.

We are Pelgrims on the Porugese Santiaogo way and if we have the possibilidad an "Albergue" and a "AL" or "Juventude" than is it nornaal,that we chose something like yours : my aga is already more than 82 and this of me mujer mas de 73 años !
