  • “Central”

  • “A beautiful villa situated between Nerja and Frigiliana, with stunning views of the mountains. Room 2 is a large open plan room with panoramic windows which allows an incredible view of the sunrise from the comfort of your bed. Breakfast was of excellent quality and served on the outside terrace again with incredible views of the mountains and the ocean. Johan is a super friendly and courteous host; he helpfully speaks several languages fluently - he was switching between English, German and Spanish with ease over breakfast service. Can highly recommend and will certainly stay again on my next trip to the area.”

  • Hostal The Monkey Room Review score: 8

“The Monkey Room was a nice surprise, good price for Marbella Old Town. Easy drop off for a taxi. Near the stations and shops and walkable to the beach We could leave our luggage under the stairs after check out. Friendly man on the desk. Uses google translate. They have a laundry facility too.”

  • Hostal El Escudo de Mijas Review score: 10

“Fab location, great views, comfortable bed, and clean”

  • “Cosy room, in a very nice neighborhood, had everything what we needed”

  • “Very comfortable. Excellent hosts - very pleasant and helpful. Location is good if you’re after peace and quiet, lovely views. Dinner and breakfast at the property both great and value for money. Simon and Kirsty were also kind enough to pack us a “packed breakfast” on our last day when we had to check out for an early flight.”

  • “Lovely vibe in this place, a shared kitchen and eating area was available upstairs, so it's a good place to meet other travellers and save a bit on food costs. Upstairs the views are amazing. Old town is just round the corner with lovely little shops, a market, cafés and restaurants. The beaches and harbour are wonderful. I'm no kitesurfer but I loved watching them. I'm definitely going back to Tarifa.”
