I loved the wooden touch they designed in everything. It was calming. The food was amazing. Loved the house overall. Great location. Good bed. Nice bathroom. Natural covers. Heat. Clear sky. It's a wonderful place. Definitely worth visiting. They accommodated us with some requests they have. You will find a surprise gift in your room. It was a great experience, and the whole place there - the landscape is breathtaking.

The rooms are a bit dull, they could use some local decoration. The fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy and annoying such that we chose to avoid using the light just to avoid the 5 min noise.

Well located, close to some nice hiking trails. The food was good, the staff was welcoming, looking out to serve our needs.

I was initially hooked by the "all rooms have a view over the forest" message. This is surely true, but the window at my room was extremely small, based only on the message I imagined larger windows.

The staff and hosts are simply wonderful, very kind, responsive and accommodating. The breakfast, included in the booking price, is simply delicious (and big!). You can order any meal, not just the included breakfast - all meals were delicious. You can buy traditional, local made products (jams, syrups, ...) - which in my case made for a very nice selection of gifts. The location is simply wonderful, and is also close to other typical tourist places (short drive from Belis, for example). Rooms are warm and cosy and extremely clean. Excellent views with the surrounding forests. And let's not forget the small army of really really cute cats :)

Breakfast is served at 9, not so good if you are a morning person and you would like some coffee when you wake up. The pillows were not so comfortable. The windows don’t have an insect net, therefore if you leave the window open in your room, you will find some bugs and flies.

Very friendly staff, everybody had a positive vibe. We served only breakfast and dinner and everything was delicious. Perfect place to relax and forget about the noisy cities. The view in the area is fantastic. “Camara de la munte” has a good variety of local goods that you can buy for home. Prices were fair.

A very traditional place with great food, great rooms and superb location in the Northern Apuseni mountins. The breakfast is traditional and very good. You can choose great Romanian food for the evening dinner or eat the fixed menu that changes from day to day.

Nothin. It was wonderful. You don't come into a lodge expecting a world-class experience, but Cabana Motilor exceeded our expectations.

A delightful lodge on the edge of the National Park. I'll never forget sitting on the porch watching the fox being chased around by the big shepherd dog. Rooms are simple but comfortable, food was excellent, and the staff were a delight. Would definitely return.

First of all the location is wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were great. Local production, fresh and special. I also liked the rooms, simple and pleasant. Great view from the window and wonderful silence.

I may be biased or not but this place is among the most beautiful in the world. I hope I'm lucky enough to count Ela & Sebi among my friends, they were amazing when I met them in 2005 and are amazing now :) See you next time

The gulas we ordered for dinner, being the only option, was just an insult. Besides the fact it costs 50 RON for a bowl it has nothing to do with what gulas actually is (it was basically a watered down soup with ingredients I wouldn't feed a murder prisoner). First of all gulas is made out of beef, and not the cheapest pork meet you can find as "smoked". This meat is the one that has the consistency of poly-carbonate, it shines like a mirror because of the cocktail of chemicals it is injected with and is tasteless besides the artificial smoke flavor. Avoid at all costs! Not sure how the same location that give you a good breakfast can serve you such "food". We just refused to eat it but we had to pay for it... The other negative thing that happened at this location is the reason for the rest of the deducted points from my rating. They have a young dog that was left loose in the evening and once I got out of the cabin it just jumped me. He was trying to play but without control so I tried to retreat and go back. This has proven futile and after just few steps back he started climbing me, eventually throw me to the ground in the mud and bit both my forearms. Obviously I panicked, kicked him as hard as I could and eventually escaped. This is the worst experience I have ever had in any Booking location in my life. It should not be permitted to let 40kg+ dogs loos on your guests.

The location is really nice and the breakfast was good.
