Wow, what a great experience we had here. The room was huge, the hot spring bath on the balcony was so beautiful & relaxing & loved the view too. Breakfast was good & parking was easy. Would definitely visit again!

Beautiful view! I stayed in one of the balcony hot spring rooms. The mountains and the river were right there and the hot spring bath was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and accommodating despite my very limited Mandarin. Breakfast was generous and delicious!

While there non-smoking signs in all the rooms, it was apparent that someone at some point had smoked in my room. It is difficult to remove that smell, but it didn't bother me too much. Others might be more sensitive to it.

This hotel is great! Super spacious rooms, really comfy beds and our room had a great spa on our balcony. The staff are super friendly and helpful! Fully recommend!

The only challenge I'd say is the location and lack of restaurants near the hotel. If we didn't rent a car I think we would have had a real challenge in regard to access and finding food. This is only minor and probably the reason it gets a 9 not a 10. If it had a cafe or restaurant it be a 10 for me.

Staff were extremely nice and helpful! The vibe of the hotel is very chill. There are some heart warming messages everywhere. The hot spring at the balcony was big that there was enough for two people to enjoy together, listening to the river sound. They also provided fresh milk from Taitung and homemade soy milk for breakfast. Amazing experience and will definitely come back if I visit Taitung again. ;)

It's a bit of a pity that they don't provide dinner options, we need to dine somewhere else.

Such a gem. The staff are so sweet and there are so many charming little touches. It was lovely to have our own private hot spring bath outdoors with a view. Breakfast was also wonderful, healthy, plentiful, and with very nice coffee. The forest park nearby was also delightful. We can't wait to go back.

Location is the only thing I guess.

Owner and staffs were warm and friendly. Location quiet, facilities clean. Breakfast and evening snack (hot bun) were good.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area, a bit away from the big hotels. You need your own transport to get to restaurants, shops etc. The rooms are spatious, comfortable, clean and quiet. We had a hot tub on the balcony, which was great. The wifi is fast. The breakfast is OK, but not exceptional.

The staff was very kind. We were informed at check in that there will be an evening snack consisting of a steamed bun delivered to our room door (there was an option for a vegetarian one too), also ladies are given a face mask. The breakfast as well as the snack were amazingly good! The room was spacious and clean. The bath on the balcony was great, we mixed it with cold water to get 38-42°C, there was a thermometer by the bath - the thermal water alone was over 50°C. The view from the balcony bath (at least in our room) was more obstructed by an addition to the balcony railing - which someone may however enjoy for more privacy. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it was a wonderful stay and I couldn't have wished for a better one. The view from the balcony was very nice and there was also a smaller foot bath with seats right outside the entrance to the hotel.

Not enough pillows

The hot spring bath was very nice. The staff was very kind and helpful. Everything was very tidy and clean.

Interesting location, clean with friendly and helpful staff. Wrong time of year to visit the hot springs. Spring water piped directly into private bath.

The bath tub is too small for 2 adults for hot spring. It's not worthy for $3300/night!

It was clean, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, we liked the evening desert, staff was very friendly. The hot spring on the balcony was really nice.

I guess you can only reach it by car (which we had), but it was still a minus that there were no restaurants for dinner within walking distance. Since our driver already drank a beer, it was not possible to get food in the evening (besides the evening desert) because the next restaurant was more than 2 km away.

Can't enjoy the view from the bath due to screening. Nowhere nearby to eat (hotel provides boubou roll for supper at 9pm)
