Nothing! Everything was so good.

The service at the lodge was impeccable. Everything was thought out and the owner was super polite, always asking us for permission to enter the room to clean up our room and was often very accommodating to our timings as well as we were back for a bereavement. They also provided us snacks upon our arrival and also on the last day of us leaving which is very thoughtful and often just checked in on guests each morning. The room and the decor was super homely, very clean and comfortable. What I wanted to highlight was the kindness shown during this stay, because we lost a mobile on our train ride into Hualian and the owner went out of the way to ask a friend to pick up the mobile from the train station we lost it at and send it via DHL to the lodge resulting in my mom retrieving her phone back that had very important info on it. I just want to thank the lodge owner, Mr Jian for the kindness shown and also going out of the way to help us organize the retrieval of this mobile. Words cannot describe how grateful we were on the hospitality and the kind gesture shown to help a guest.

Location was a bit far from the main part of town, but there are still lots of food places, amenities and parks nearby to enjoy.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The host also prepared a welcome snack for us after our arrival, and was also very helpful and kind when I was unwell during the trip. This was by far our favourite accommodation throughout our trip.

Arthur, the owner was extremely helpful. He made some great restaurant recommendations and helped us navigate everything from the upcoming typhoon to finding a bank. Also, the room is spotless and nicely furnished. Loved the attention to details like the fresh flowers and bud vases around the room.

Fantastic stay at Errant Lodge & Studios. Each room tastefully themed to a very high standard. Great communication from the start of booking. Ideal location for us to explore the city and plenty of places to eat. Arthur the owner was always available with tips and local knowledge, After a long touring we came back to fresh fruit and home made patisseries made by the hosts wife. You also had use of the kitchen facilities to make and store meals. Thank you Arthur for such a enjoyable stay.

Everything! Especially the beautiful, comfortable and relaxing environment the owner created for the guest.

The reason for me to pick Errantry at first was mainly because I was curious how a “9.9” rating lodge would feel like. Now I can tell you it feels like at home! A beautiful, comfortable, relaxing home away from home! Really appreciate the host took extra efforts, looked into all the details to make the guest enjoy such a wonderful stay! Thank you Arthur!
