Spacious rooms close to the train station. Very clean. Breakfast to be picked up for every rooms was delicious and a nice surprise.

This hostel has 4 floors. Level 2 to 4 are guest rooms. A lift was provided. The room was big with a sofa, very cosy. 10 minutes walking distance to Hualien station.

Large, clean room with even a sofa! Smoking area (a small balcony) on every floor! I stayed there during the recent earthquake: no broken windows, no falling lamps, no cracks in the wall, staff turned up before the first aftershock: a very strong building! I felt safe the evening/night after the quake. Location is really good as well: close to the train and bus stations, close to many restaurants and grocery shops.

There wasn't anything dislike based on the room, location and cost. I guess if I had to choose it would be no refrigerator in the room. and the breakfast which I didn't have and it was included. Looked like just a cheese sandwich and a yogurt or something. For someone looking for a big breakfast this probably wouldn't suffice but was meaningless to me since I don't do breakfast.

Great location within 5 minutes of the central station. The room was VERY large, clean, big bathroom, and the staff were great, even let me check in a couple hours early. For the cost, staff and location this was a much better choice then my other Hualien stay. There was coffee, snacks and breakfast available as well as a communal refrigerator

In a nice area - less than 10 mins walk from Hualien train station, very clean and quiet with modern design, the host was kind and welcoming.

Breakfast was due at 8am but wasn’t delivered till 9am setting my plans for the day back an hour. Breakfast is supplied by a shop and they were apparently the problem. I was the only person staying that night so maybe that’s why it wasn’t a priority.

Quite close to the train station but a long walk from the night market. Can hire bikes at the train station to make it easier to get around and to go up the coast. Breakfast is ok. Coffee machine and refrigerator available to use downstairs.

When I arrive at the hotel, there was no one there - waited for more than half an hour frantically trying to reach them to open the door for me. During my previous stay, I added them to my Wechat contact list, but they have since stopped communicating over Wechat. They are also not contactable via WhatsApp, Line, Telegram and etc. other messaging apps. They only left a Taiwanese telephone number on the door which guest had to make a voice call to get someone to come open the door. Note: As I was roaming in Taiwan, while I have pre-purchased a roaming data plan, my telco charged me a hefty some for roaming voice call. It was a rude shock to me and I was thinking how inconsiderate has MUNA become! One day into my stay, the tank of the water dispenser at the lobby dried up, and it was not refilled until about a day later... the reason was obvious, no one was attending to the place most of the time.

Stay a few times there over the years, hotel was near train station, quite neighborhood (except for the occasional fighter aircraft from the airfield nearby flying pass). Place was very clean, room was big, staff was polite (that is, when they are around), price was... errh... (I hesitated) "quite reasonable". I gave them higher scores before in my previous stays, but not this time.

The room i stay at second floor has bad soundproofing. You can hear the car sound,it’s hard to fall asleep.

room space are huge ,service are so friendly and nice.
