Everything. Rooms modern, well equipped and clean. Shower was great. Breakfast excellent with plenty of selection. But the best thing was Joyce. Being a family run business, the attention to detail was excellent and in particular Joyce, who was a pleasure, always smiling and very helpful. You won’t find better accommodation Sun Moon Lake. Would highly recommend Mei Jen Home. Keep up the great work.

I had the room with the balcony. It can be noisy late at night (intermittently with what sounded like large cars or trucks) with the balcony door open as I chose to have it open instead of turning on the aircon. I think if the balcony doors were closed it should be ok.

Room was clean and big. Bed is like a queen or king size and very comfortable. Shower has excellent pressure. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Rooftop provides another spot to hang out and enjoy the view. Coffee tea etc provided, very well equipped.

The B&B is ideally located on the main street. Lots of restaurants around, a bike rental place next door and the pier two minutes away. The staff was really welcoming and friendly. They gave us lots of tips to explore the surroundings, they offered to book a restaurant for us as we couldn’t speak Chinese, and they even helped us book the tickets for the next stop of our trip. The room was spacious and clean (sadly, as often in Asia, quite dark with a small window). The breakfast had solid options, and there is even a rooftop to enjoy a little bit of view and sun. The whole place felt relaxing.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The location is close to bike rentals, resturants and a convenience shop, the rooms are clean and modern. I also appreciated the genuine hospitality of the owners, their friendliness and free drinks and snacks provided in the lobby. There's truly nothing I felt was missing or could be better here.

Noise cancellation not so great due to a huge gap under the door, could hear people going up and down the lift and talking outside.

Location was good and the owner was really friendly and helpful! Instructions were labelled clearly about the facilities. Room was clean and the accomodation provided a lot of shared amenities and some snacks :)

Its a little more expensive to stay in Sun moon lake, but so worth it. The hostess are amazing, so kind and helpful. Free snacks and tea and coffee is a big plus. Room was big, clean, smelled good

The host mother and daughter were extremely kind and helpful. My girlfriend needed some medicine and couldn’t find it anywhere in Sun Moon Lake. They gave us some from their medical kit at the property!! This is right next to main bike rental areas and many food spots. Lovely stay

Very clean, the host is extremely nice and welcoming, the best location (near main bus stops, 7/11 and Suishe pier), big room, free snacks and drinks at the ground floor. Would stay here again and will recommend it to my friends!

There are not enough words to describe our wonderful stay at Mei Jin. Beautiful, welcoming, genuine, and personal service from beginning to end. All was great

We stayed two nights in this beautiful family-owned B&B and close to the bus stop and the lake. The owners are exceptional: they proactively helped us book a bus to Alishan, gave us directions on where to rent bikes and what to visit and were always welcoming us with a smile and a chat. The room is spacious, completely new and has a partial view of the lake. A plus is that they have a beautiful corgi and their cat is also an active member of the staff, approving everyone that passes by 😄. The B&B provides snacks for their guests that are refilled daily, and there is a microwave and a washing machine/dryer that can be used by the guests. I 1000% recommend this establishment for your stay in Sun Moon Lake

love everything there! the owners are a daughter/mum team. they are so warm and caring. really feels like coming home every time we go back after our sightseeing here and there. they prepared lotsa snacks/tea/coffee/fruits/etc at a common area on the ground floor. the room has plenty of hooks and hangers to air sweaty clothes or towels after shower. everywhere in the house feels homey and clean.

The directions on maps and the booking.com website led us to the wrong side of the building. However the owner did send specific instructions in a separate email/message.

Property was clean and well maintained. Amenities were new and the common areas were well stocked with snacks and refreshments. The view from the terrace was quite nice as well. The queen bedrooms were had also had views of the water. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We got rained on while biking right before we were going to catch a bus (after we checked out). The host gave us towels, slippers and a place to change clothes. She was very accommodating.

The lights from an adjacent parking space shine into the rooms at night, and I can't understand why there is a 5 cm gap at the bottom of the room door.

It's easy to understand why they have a good rating. They actually care about their guests. And for the price, I think this is a very nice option.

Everything was top!

Everything was exciting! Lovely terrace with a view Delicious and freshly prepared breakfast, although we have been too late once and to early once, because of bus leaving to Alishan. No problem for Joyce and her mother. Water dispenser for fresh water, free of charge. Small snacks free of charge. Laundry machine (not used by us) Very clean and confortable rooms Top and central location, 5 minutes by foot to the wharf. And last but not least: Joyce and her mother helped us with everything and had a lot of tips, in perfect English. Perfect stay and 100%ly recommended. We stayed 2 nights.

Perfect location within 4’ walk from the bus stop, clean and spacious room, good breakfast, very welcoming and attentive hosts! There’s a laundry machine / drier so you have everything you need! On the departure day, we were also provided a breakfast a bit earlier to catch our bus. That was so sweet! Highly recommend!

Location is near the bus station for buses from Taichong. Just about 5min walk only. So very convenient. It is cosy and the room has the modern contemporary deco. Also it is near Shiishe pier to take the ferry for sightseeing around Sun Moon Lake. Love the little common corner for beverages and snacks. The staff brought us to the pier to watch sunset at 5am! That was so sweet of her. If you want the sightseeing ferry tickets, you can buy from them to save u time queueing and also at a good price.
