The bunkerbed was very hard and airconditioning not really good and directly next to your head, which is why i got sick on the next day

The price was defenitly very cheap and the check-in was easy without the need of staff. The location was good.

The rooms are big and spacious, which was welcomed! The decor is really fun and we had a laugh at the prison motives.

The rooms do not have sound insulation, and because the hostel is located on a very busy street, it is not possible to sleep comfortably. I believe it is something they should invest in for the future. The room next to mine was separated by a plastic curtain, so I could also hear my neighbor's sounds very clearly. It was uncomfortable.

In case your train arrives very late in the city, it's possible to check in after the usual hours. In that regard, there was good communication with the staff, who sent me a message on LINE with the corresponding instructions for self-check-in. The room is a bit rustic, but it's not bad for a few nights. I found the bathroom to be clean, although I would recommend a slightly deeper cleaning

Located on a busy street, so expect to hear traffic.

Private room centrally located in Hualien. Close to several shops and a few steps from the superb night market. Several bus stops nearby.

There is no elevator. Street view also means noisy room due to traffic. None of the electrical plugs have the ground. As there are only two holes, it was not possible to charge the laptop due to the plug. Reception is not staffed except during the specified check-in time. You need to Line or call them.

The room was clean and conveniently located. Thr staff was nice during the check-in.

I doubt that the room has been cleaned at all. At least not before I checked in. There is dust and black long hairs on the floor. The room is infested with ants! I could not sleep on the bed as there was something moving (if it's ants or something else I do not know). I had to sleep on the couch, which was not comfortable and I woke up with bites all over me. Terrible experience!

The theme of the hotel is absolutely very cool.

There was an ant infestation. The water faucet kept leaking….informed them and asked to solution but received no response and no one was ever at the front desk. Spring bed super uncomfortable. The place had very minimal insulation so you can hear everyone talking or lots of noises from outside. Only bath towels given no hand towels. You could say it gave the real life version of what prison would kinda be like without the jumpsuits. We thought it was just gonna be the costumes and fake prison cell for shits and giggles. Reviews said there was a bar and food…all of which has been shut down and hadn’t been in use for some time.

Location was decent. Close enough for a short walk to market or waters.

Probably the least sound proof hotel in the entire world, I don't like to complain about budget accommodation but it's like having semi trailer trucks driving through the bedroom. Not for the faint hearted...

we payed a very high price for this room due to it being a long weekend, more than twice what it was a few days later , watch this , it was noisy and light , the shower wet the toilet and there was no mop to dry the room

it was further from the train station than expected. perhaps it was in keeping with the whole prison theme, but the place appeared worse for wear. mould in the silicone sealing in the bathroom, cobwebs behind the door? not the best hostel for non- Mandarin speaking persons as the reception is not there and you need to call them for passwords and check in instructions

Dirty floor, tiny pillows, rude cleaner with kids screaming while cleaning other rooms. Other nut job people staying there, one yelling at partner in the middle of the night and one with a dog that wouldn't stop barking. Guess the cheap price attracts the crazies.

Great location. Close to night markets. Cool theme. Owner quick to fix issues after notified.
