A little further out from main area of Hualien, but still very nice if you want to relax on your holiday.

From the very start of booking this place, the owners kept up great communication with us. They were super friendly, chucked in a free cot and baby bath, and simply just made us feel very welcome.

The photos on Booking are a bit misleading. As mentioned above, the terrace was not usable, except for hanging laundry, and the view is not entirely green.

The room and the bathroom were spacious and very clean. The bed was nicely large and moderately comfortable. The hostess made us feel very welcome, even unexpectedly bringing a plate of sliced fruits for us to enjoy. There were plenty of fresh towels and utensils available every day (discretely placed in a basket in front of our door). Unfortunately, we could not use the terrace on our floor for sitting as laundry was hung there. On the plus side, we were allowed to use the washing machine to wash our own clothes, which was very nice and helpful. Should we ever return to Hualien, we would be happy to stay there again.

Perhaps a bit of a walk for a meal but that is OK. It was nice and quiet.

The owners are lovely and very accommodating. They even gave us a baby bath and took us with our all bags to the train station. It was very much appreciated. Our room was a credit to them.

The small refrigerator in our room was very noisy - the only thing I could complain about and stopped me giving a rating of 10. I would have given a 9.5 (rather than 9) if I could.

This is an excellent place to stay in Hualien and I highly recommend it. The woman who runs it is super friendly and helpful, The rooms are very nice and have plenty of space. There is a kitchen and common area downstairs. An elevator to the upper floors is much appreciated. The location is not too close to the train station but that has the advantage of being a quiet area. There is good parking available. The owner insisted on giving us a lift to the station with our bags when we were leaving.

Arrived at the accommodation in the evening and had a surprise tartlet for my son by the host as she saw that it was his birthday during the stay. Very nice gesture. Host also allowed us to use the living room for our late night drinks and chit chat. She also helps us bring in our laundry when the rain can to prevent it from getting wet.

Room was huge for a family of 3, with a large bathroom. Very clean and well maintained. Lift in the home stay is a bonus for my elderly parents. Host was super kind and generous, even offering oilment and medicinal patches for my mum when she'd heard about her injured ankle. Host even sent us the the railway station in the morning of our last day!! Would recommend staying here if you wanna be away from the buzz of the city. Host provides 4 city bikes for FREE too! It's near the cycling route to taipingyang park! AWESOME STAYING EXPERIENCE!

If there's a dryer it would be perfect.

Host is friendly,room is very big for 4 pax. Can open 4 mid size luggage and still got space to walk. Toilet is also very big. Good for family with kids. Location is away from city but can call taxi very easily.

It is very close to the train station and bus station, making it super easy for transit. They provided free bikes for us to use, so we had fun riding to the ocean park and the night market. Our room had a beautiful view towards the mountain. The hostess even let us doing our laundry which was a big plus when you are travelling.

1. The pillows were not very comfortable when sleeping on my side.

1. Parking was available upon request and not on the street 2. Doing laundry was very easy and the host was very accomodating. 3. This place was SPARKLING clean. I am not sure if the location was central or not as we had a rental car. Also we could hear the sound of a fighter jet flying above our heads. Apparently there had been military drills due to the constant threat by Mainland China.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and had a large shower. There were multiple windows and good natural lighting. There was private parking lot. There was an elevator.

We arrived on the day of Typhoon Doksuri in heavy rain. To heal all of our tiredness, a warm shower and a plate of fruit were very nice treatment. The room is very tidy and well maintained. You can use the laundry too. The staff - Mrs Tang is very kind and friendly. She helped us to get a electrical adapter from a local shop. Actually we extended our stay here and had great two days in Hualian. Our stay in the hotel is absolutely one of the reasons, together with local food and Taroko National Park.

The area is pretty quiet. So it would take a while to get food or other attractions. If you drive or rent a scooter, it won’t be an issue.

10mn walk from the TRA station, in a very quiet neighbourhood. I had a beautiful big room with a large balcony, with a nice bathroom with italian style shower. On the ground floor, there's a kitchen with a coffee machine, microwave over, etc that you can use. The whole place is neat and quiet, definitely a place to recommend.
