Do take note that some rooms have a different layout even though the room type is the same. Ours had a big room but smaller veranda, but our friends' had a smaller room (without tea nook) but bigger veranda

The interior of the room was modern and cosy. The best part was that there was a tea drinking nook (Room 601). The bathroom had a rainfall shower head with great water pressure. The room is very spacious and had a veranda. The toilet is a bidet type and even has a hose! Such a good bonus for muslim travellers. The location of the B&B was quite close to a parking area. Just needed to cross the road, but suggest bringing a day pack if you plan to stay there just overnight as lugging around a luggage might be inconvenient if you park far. The B&B provided free flow of drinking water, and the coffee machine is free to use as well. As there were not many halal options for breakfast, the staff provided a gift voucher worth NT$60 for each guest to spend at the 7-Eleven nearby. There were a lot of restaurants within walking distance (also none were Halal nor muslim friendly), but there are some vegan snack options. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Sun Moon Lake.

Amazing home-cooked varied breakfast, lovely room, clean, spacious, very helpful staff who spoke English, lift, luggage storage, wifi, TV. Good value for money. Located right next to bus station and 7-eleven.

A beautiful room, clearly recently remodelled. Nice bathtub and large shower. Lovely staff and a delicious breakfast. There's a nice shared rooftop area as well.

You could hear the toilet flushing in the room above and the breakfast wasn’t to our taste, but otherwise it was perfect.

The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. It was not good, not bad on the first day but the sandwiches on the second day was better. In general was not very filling but there isnt much else in the area except 7/11

My sister recommended staying at this b&b after she did, it was so good. Highly recommend. The room was spacious and clean. They also offer a lot of discounted coupons for ferry tickets, bike rental and attractions around the area. Also loved that they had a coffee machine in the lobby we could use throughout the day. Note there was no "view" from the property but it was a 2 min walk to pier.

The staff at the reception is not friendly - could be due to language barriers - they do not speak English.

It is very clean, the rooms are comfortable and very quiet. The air con is really good - it does not make noise. Bed are very comfortable. The lady preparing the breakfast is really friendly, such a sunshine!

No safe in the room, but by no means a deal breaker.

Lady boss was very hospitable and helpful. Gave us a comprehensive introduction of the lake and relevant activities which enabled us to have a splendid day out. The room was also quiet and comfortable, with a nice toilet / shower. Finally the homemade breakfast was delicious. Discounted tickets for bicycle rental, ferry ride, etc. are available - ask the front desk for more details.

Sounds of running water are slightly audible but not in a disturbing way. Breakfast was limited to one option

Location is great, 2-3 walking minutes from the bus stop 5 minutes to the boat dock. Our room has a balcony which was very cute, black out curtains and not too loud outside. Staff was really nice and helpful.
