The showerhead is a little low for tall Europeans😆 Apart from that we had no struggles at all.

The owners were incredibly helpful and kind, the room was good and the homestay is a 10 minute walk away from the main station.

Very friendly and helpful host. The room was cozy and even had a balcony. Delicious breakfast which was Freshly made each day. Free parking lot in case you come with a car. The location is quite good, since it's close to the train station, however the night market is farther away.

I stayed on 3rd floor and the room size is small because the balcony take up part of the room space so no space to open up my luggage. While my friend stay on 2nd floor with same booking room type same price, was given a room with bigger bed size and more room space without balcony. Water spirt out from the bath tub when shower as the design is not water proof.

The property is close to the bus and train station. The owners friendly and very helpful for information about the park and who could help me print out my hiking permit. The breakfast was very delicious.

The hostel staff was really carefull . They found for us a tour in taroko and it was great !!! A very good breakfast 👌 . //!\\ if you are vegetarian warn them before the breakfast. We are french, so bread is important for us , and the grilled bread was the best we had since WE arrive 8 day ago in taiwan <3. light and sound isolation in the night was more than okay

Personally prefer a fully separated shower, but I made it work. Location is walkable to the train station but possibly just the way Hualien is set up, makes it far from downtown.

Good owners, nice quiet area, room was good for a 2 night stay. Pretty straightforward check in and check out. Close to the train station if you're just staying to take a trip to Taroko (which would probably leave from the train station).

Their breakfast is cooked fresh after you walk into the dining place. Menu is changed daily. So I tried twice of their breakfast. Both were pleasant to eyes, healthy and tasted great, especially the eggs which were cooked so tender. And somebody there must have green thumbs as the 3 small patios are all zen-like. I enjoyed checking into those plants. There are carps in a small pod. Room is also neat, bright and well decorated. Sufficient room for 4 of us. Host and hostess have been very helpful and accommodating. We had a great stay! I’ll definitely recommend this place to friends.

The first night some families with kids were so loud that we couldn't fall asleep for several hours, though that is not the fault of the owners.

The owners were very nice and made an outstanding breakfast. The room is functional and clean. The location is pretty good for both going/walking to the train station quickly and for getting to the center by walking a bit further or taking a cab as well.

There are no bus stop nearby, you have to walk 5 to 10 minutes.

Large room with balcony. Quiet neighborhood but you can find some pubs, karaoke or restaurants in less than 5 minutes walking. Friendly staff. Very good and various breakfast.

My friend is allergic to dogs. Although the property was marked pet friendly, we didn’t realize that meant there would be a dog there. The windows were a little difficult to close at night, but either way there was a screen to prevent mosquitoes. The walls were not completely soundproof - we could hear traffic outside, but they were pretty good nonetheless. The location is about 10 minutes away from many restaurants and stores by walking. Be prepared to taxi, bus, or arrange your own transportation to the city center or night market.

The proprietress was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Her dog was also cute, calm, and friendly. She gave us the key and explained how to enter and exit the property. The place felt secure since there were locks on the house door and to the individual rooms. The rooms were very clean and beautiful with lots of sunlight. Great decoration. No pet hair despite pets being allowed. We couldn’t stay for breakfast, but snacks were provided, and it looked like breakfast was going to be very good if we had been able to stay. I would be happy to stay here again. It was a great value for the cost.
