Easily the best and friendliest place we have stayed in Taiwan! Michael and his staff are incredible. Always helpful and kind. Michael took a lot of time helping us to arrange our trip to Green island - then when the ferry was cancelled due to poor weather he got us back our payment to the ferry company. When we were transferring to our next hotel where the owner spoke no English helped to communicate on the phone for us. There was some renovations in the hotel which caused no trouble or noise to us at all but Michael offered us a gift because of this. His staff frequently gave us complimentary coffees when we returned after being out exploring. The room was spotlessly clean and enormous bed so comfortable. Power shower fantastic. We had a little rooftop garden off our room which was lovely to sit out at in the mornings. If you want a hotel with a wonderfully kind and comfortable feel in Taitung you must stay in the Venice B&B! Oh, and the coffee is the best we have tasted in Taiwan! And the free hotel bikes are great for exploring the city which has a great network of cycle paths.

The facility is a bit old . Sound proofing was not great .

Very friendly staff , great location . They have free bicycle for you to use , which was great .

I couldn't turn off the outside light at night. The switch for the bedside reading light could not be reached from the bed. Tiles in the bathroom were extremely slippery. Some people would find the stairs difficult as they are very steep. I'm glad I didn't have much luggage to carry upstairs.

Breakfast was an interesting and slightly weird version of a western breakfast. It was nice that I didn't need to go out and find breakfast elsewhere. Room was large and pleasant. Owner was very welcoming and helpful and used Google translate to give me good information.

Everything was great

The B&B had everything you need. Bicycles for free, a breakfast, comfortable beds, and an amazing staff.

Breakfast is included. A convenient location and a beautiful hotel. Rooms are super spacious and very clean. Would definitely stay here again! Bike rentals were available, although we didn't end up using them.

Well it was on the 4th floor with no elevator which was ok for us but could get a little tiring

Very nice place over a coffee shop, breakfast was very good and varied day to day. Right on the street with a market on it and very near the art and music villages. We stayed in the suite with a balcony which was nice for a morning coffee. Taitung is a nice town and the mountains are close. There is very close parking too

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very kind and accommodating. While breakfast started at 8, they kindly arranged for us to have a takeaway breakfast when we needed to leave early for a tour. The terrace was lovely. The B&B is close to restaurants and cafes in central Taitung.

Host was amazing, very helpful, we got a free room upgrade, because there was availability. Free bikes ( great condition) use, which was a great way to see the forest park. Very clean and comfortable room. Nice big breakfast.

Clean rooms that had everything you could need. Good A/C. Nice cafe on first floor. Good location near town and beach.

Staffs are super friendly and attentive . They saw our backache,quickly help to move luggages. Breakfast was excellent with different styles each day. Freshly made upon arrival . Room was clean and well equipped.

Host was extremely friendly, gave lots of introduction to the city and where to go as I was the 1st time in town. The room was very secured, host gave welcome drink and offered me breakfast even after breakfast hour when I overslept. Carpark was also secured, was given remote for the barrier gate to facilitate movement ina nd out easily.
