It was close to the Hualien train station and close to 7/11 and Family Mart. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and she made sure we were comfortable and organized during our stay.

We enjoyed entire stay. The hosts were very kind with good communication. Very clean and bright room,short walk distance from the train station and near by restaurants. The beds were comfortable and shower water has good pressure and temperature. The location is also quiet in the night.

Only minor thing is sound isolation is not the best from the hallway. There was a kid at 7am running up and down screaming and it woke us up. But if guests keep quiet there's no problems.

They should have a place or rack to put the luggage bag to unpack or to take things easier, rather then putting the luggage bag on the floor and have to squat to take or unpack the clothing. This is the only thing for the owner to look into it

No person speaking English, no person at all. There is no reception, so if you need anything, you must call the provided phone number (but he/she speaks only Chinese) or ask cleaning ladies for help. No options to order additional services, like laundry (because there is no reception). Difficult to get inside for the first time (entrance door was locked and there was no ringing bell!). Shower cabin could be cleaner.

Location, value, allowed us to check-in us 3h earlier (at noon instead of 15:00). Free water every day is also a nice touch.

This feels like a home away from home. The owner was very friendly and kindly agreed to a late check out, which we hugely appreciated! The location itself is extremely convenient - 10 minutes walk from the train station and 30-minutes to the night market. Can't wait to come back:)

No staff onsite so when we arrived at the time stated on the booking there was no one around. Found a couple of woman across the street to ash them if they could call the local contact number, only to find they were the custodians who let us into the room. That night they reappeared and woke up up (jetlagged) and made us go downstairs to pay. The next morning I whipped out to get breakfast before the gorge tour and couldn't get back in. Would only recommend this place to someone with a Taiwanese SIM card.

The staff was not polite to knock the door at night to ask for payment, even though I was about to end my meeting and said I will come to pay after the meeting, but the staff did not want me to do so, and my wife had to wake up just for the payment. It’s really impolite at that point.

The rooms are in a large residential property, which was not marked well and was difficult to find. The room was quite small, but ok for 1 or 2 nights. It was a little bit loud.

Everything was very clean and the room was well-equipped. It is close to the train station and restaurants.
