Good to realise that close to the trainstation does not mean close to the sights in Hualien. But the busstation is a easy 7 minute walk.

Easy 10 minute walk from the trainstation. Self check in went smooth.

The room had a really really big window with see through glass. People could see through the window easily which made us a little uncomfortable.

The location was excellent and close to the train station. The room was comfortable. Washroom was clean.

The room was clean and comfortable. There was drinkable water available and the staff was easily contacted and friendly. Also, i payed around 600NT$ per night for 2 people so thats really fair aswell!

I like the fact that there’s a water dispenser on the first floor:)) The owner is friendly and caring to the unexpected issue we ran into with the other guests next door~ A misunderstanding which resolved just fine :)

I think it’s typical to Taiwan, but we had multiple cockroaches in our room..

The quick communication made it super easy to find the home stay, figure out the (free!) parking and the lock.

You can hear noise from the street quite clearly, probably because there is no window between the area behind the air-conditioner and the street. The water machine couldn't produce hot water on our first morning, but it was rectified on the same day when we notified the host. Power sockets were a bit loose compared to other accommodations in Taiwan.

The accommodation is in a quiet residential area in the city. The room was adequate for the price.

- we were asked to pay half of the room fees before the stay as a deposit, however i was not given enough details to make an overseas payment. the staff took awhile to reply to me regarding their bank details, but they ended up letting us pay the full amount at the property instead

- has a carpark just outside the property - only about 10min walk from hualien station - property was very clean - towels, soap and toothbrush provided - very soft bed - room was quite spacious - self service checkin - good value for money

There is no staff to ask questions about surroundings but that's ok.

We had Hello Kitty room which was cute, the room was very clean, spacious and had comfy bad.

No lift so have to carry up the luggage. Location quite far from Dongdamen.

Clean and easy to check in.

The walls are badly painted and the paint is coming off, many holes were no covered, the bathtub looks really dirty. Despite the mosquito screens on the doors and a mosquito repellent, there were many mosquitos in the room. The coomon area is really uninviting and plain. There are no microwaves or anything like that, but there's at least free drinking water and a fridge.

Acceptable room if you book last minute and want a private room with you own bathroom. Looks kind of retro.
