Comet was an exceptional host and went an extra mile to make sure our 1st trip to Hualien was a memorable one. We were unfortunately in Hualien when Typhoon Ragasa hit but Comet drove us to an eatery for lunch and then joined us for Starbucks coffee. Comet and her partner has a knack of hospitality and everyone is special to them. During our stay, she has bowls of cut fruits, homemade cookies, Chinese pastries, Chinese dessert soup and instant noodles so to make sure that we were well taken off. Staying in AT home Plus is indeed a home away from home.

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The location was absolutely perfect close to everything we needed. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. We truly felt at home and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and comfortable stay.

The perfect place to stay in Hualien! We stayed for two nights and would have gladly stayed longer. The hosts were incredibly friendly (and spoke great English!) and were especially helpful with planning our visit to Taroko during the construction and road closures. We highly recommend taking a bike ride (bicycles are provided by the B&B) to explore the charming small streets, hidden corners, and the scenic riverside.

Comfortable and welcoming. Every effort has been made. Cycles were available which allowed us to explore the city easily. Lots of small details made the accommodation special. The host gave lots of recommendations and advice and spoke excellent English . By the time we departed we had made good friends. The host’s dog is lovely and very friendly.

We happened to stay there during the 2024 Hualien earthquake. The hosts were amazing and a source of great comfort to us and other guests. They went out to fill the fridge with drinks, fruits, snacks, etc, and were always available to answer any questions we had. They got breakfast for everyone. They called a taxi for us and given the road closures, walked us to the pick up point. They also checked in with us after we left to ensure we managed to catch the train. We liked the location of the property, which is near the beach and great for running. It is also close to the night market. Parking was easy. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The tv also has streaming services. There is a bidet toilet. The property has a shared washing machine, and clean drinking water on the first floor. The hosts have an adorable dog called Ah Jiu, whom we loved. No complaints at all - while we wouldn’t wish an earthquake on anyone, we are so grateful we were staying at this accommodation when it happened.

The location was near the beach so it gets quite cold when the winds are strong. Walking distance to night market where there is a variety of good local food. The owners were exceeding gracious and thoughtful. They prepared fruits for us every night of our stay. We had time to chitchat about anything and everything - good exchange of culture and expectations. Even their pet dog dud his job by taking a photo with us for memory.

Clean and well appointed room with very comfortable bed and plenty of electrical outlets. The large soaking tub (bath salts provided) was heavenly. The host Comet was very hospitable and helpful. There are free bicycles to use as well. I would definitely stay there again!

The hosts are super nice! They gave us a ton of recommendations, and helped us rent scooters. The rooms are great, the location is good, right by the nightmarket. We felt very well taken care of and very comfortable. If we ever come back to Hualien we hope we can stay here again. :).

It's quite far from the city center. It's just a few minutes walk to Dongsamen night market but there are few shops, restaurant, and convenient store nearby.

The room is comfortable. The owner helped us a lot from trip planning, finding taxis, to places for food/shopping.

Clean, quiet, and very near to the beach! Very accessible to the heartland of Hualien City as well. Highly recommend to anyone who’s looking at staying over in Hualien for a couple of days.

- It was a nice bed and breakfast experience where the owners are very friendly and welcoming. They are animal lovers and they have a lovely dog named Ah Gau (also known as Ah Jiu) who is also so friendly and who lives in the place. - They give great food recommendations. - Room is comfy and value for money even more so if there's more staying in it (accommodates for 3 pax). Very clean. - Short walk away to the Night Market and the beach.
